Katy Tur’s new book, “Unbelievable.” has just dropped – and it looks like a must-read.

In the new book, Tur details a most unwelcome advance from the reality TV-show host during his presidential campaign:

The incident happened before one of Trump’s appearances on MSNBC’s Morning Joe.

Before I know what’s happening, his hands are on my shoulders and his lips are on my cheek,” Tur wrote. “My eyes widen. My body freezes. My heart stops.

The next thing that crossed her mind, she wrote, was: “F—. I hope the cameras didn’t see that. My bosses are never going to take me seriously. I didn’t have time to duck!

Following a 2015 interview with Trump … the candidate told Tur, “You’ll never be president!”

Tur recalled thinking to herself, “Neither will you.”

But what Tur has to say about Trump’s overall behavior puts him in a far more menacing light than a vile, unwelcome kiss:

“I think the role of the press is to be critical and not to accept everything at face value,” Tur told Salon’s Amanda Marcotte during a live Salon Talks interview today. “And that’s why politicians don’t like the press. It’s not like all politicians love reporters. They all probably hate us, or at least can’t stand us some of the time. Presidential candidates have always gone after the media. But he did it in a much more personal and direct way that put people’s lives in danger.”
