Grover Norquist: Ted Cruz ‘Crashed And Burned’
About a quarter of the way into Karen Tumulty’s article on congressional Republican leaders appearing to back down on their efforts to sabotage Obamacare by denying funding is this juicy little gem from anti-tax radical Grover Norquist:
“I think it was very possible for us to delay the implementation of Obamacare for a year until Cruz came along and crashed and burned.” …
Ah, the schadenfreude! “Taxed enough already” loudmouths are turning against each other.
… But Cruz spokeswoman Catherine Frazier said: “The American people remain behind the defund effort.”
No, Catherine, they don’t — and, to quote Rep. Joe Wilson, “You lie.”
