2-Year-Old Accidentally Shoots Herself And Dies
A North Carolina 2-year-old found a loaded handgun and accidentally shots herself.
Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Homicide Unit were at the home Saturday afternoon investigating the incident.
According to police, the girl’s father was inside the home at the time of the shooting. No one else inside the home was injured.
“There are so many unanswered questions right now running through my mind. You know, to lose a 2-year-old, to lose anybody, but to lose a 2-year-old baby who hasn’t even lived yet. This is horrific,” Brown said.
“She meant the world to them. They took care of her. They loved her and everything, and for something like this to happen – it’s devastating,” he added.
