Bruce-CutlerNew York City news junkies will immediately recognize the name of the famous (and infamous, depending on your views) defense attorney for some of the most notorious mobsters in history, including John Gotti — and it looks as if he’s picked up a few of their alleged bad habits:

In-your-face mob attorney Bruce Cutler socked a fellow patron in the kisser at a Manhattan steakhouse and ended up under arrest, police sources said Friday.

Cutler, 65, was busted Thursday night after allegedly punching a 38-year-old man at pricey Porter House in Columbus Circle.

The legal eagle was enjoying dinner with a group of lawyer friends and asked the “so-called victim” and his dining companions, another man and two women, to quiet down, Cutler’s attorney, Tim Parlatore, said.

When they refused, Cutler allegedly confronted them.

The men in the group, sensing trouble, got up.

“Cutler stands up, walks over to the table and punches the guy right in the face,” one police source said. “Big shiner.”

Parlatore didn’t exactly deny that.

“Apparently, Bruce has still got some fight in him,” said Parlatore, who is also Cutler’s law partner. “He’s an old-school guy who believes in respect. And these kids were acting out, being disrespectful in a nice restaurant.”
