Vandals Spray Racial, Political Graffiti On Space Shuttle Independence Replica
The life-size replica of the Space Shuttle Independence displayed racially-charged graffiti at the Space Center Houston.
“Houston we are the problem,” was among the writing on the side of Space Shuttle Independence.
Black paint was also sprayed on part of the structure that holds up the shuttle.
Crews quickly got to work, but there was no word as to how long it would take to remove the vandalism.
Police are investigating and hope surveillance video will show the suspect or suspects in the act.
