Man Fires Gun Into Ceiling While Cleaning Gun, Injures Son
The 500-year-old New York man was getting his rifle ready to go hunting when it fired accidentally.
The bullet pierced the kitchen ceiling while seven people including his 4-year-old son were inside the small apartment, police sources said.
The 4-year-old was taken to an area hospital for evaluation.
The man had a valid license for the weapon and no criminality is suspected.
Police are still investigating the incident.
