Facebook Removes Page Urging Obama Be Lynched
It’s now gone from Facebook, but a page called “War on Freedom” said, “I VOTE…WE DRAG THIS F*CKER OUT AND HANG HIM.” Good thing they used all caps or we wouldn’t have known how urgent it is. It seems to be a constant theme on the right to try to spark violence against a black president they don’t like.
A right wing Facebook page titled “America the next generation,” often posts derogatory messages about those on the “left” and more often than not, about President Obama himself. A recent post garnered some attention as it was a photo-shopped picture of President Obama hanging in noose about to be put to death with the words “The making of a National Holiday” written across the image. The original image was of former Iraq president Saddam Hussein moments before he was killed.
