Gordon Klingenshmitt, who believes gays shouldn’t get health care

“You know what the Bible says in 1st Corinthians 6? ‘Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?’ Now what kind of benefits should they receive? The Bible says ‘don’t be deceived, neither the effeminate nor the homosexuals will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you, but you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the spirit of our God.’ If they’re not going to get eternal benefits in Heaven why should we give them government rewards here on this earth? I don’t think we should.”

Transgenders want to use women’s rest rooms to rape young girls

“They don’t even need a sex change operation,” he said. “They just need to pretend, ‘Oh someday I want to be a man’ so a woman can do into the man’s room or ‘someday I want to be a woman’ so the man can go into the ladies’ room. This co-ed bathroom bill is going to violate your wives’ and daughters’ privacy in every public restaurant in America.”

“WORTHY OF DEATH” should be printed on gay couples’ wedding photos…and now he wants to run for office in Denver, saying he’s “running to oppose a theocracy.

Complaining that the state’s civil unions bill does not have a religious exemption, Klingenschmitt asked voters to “send at least one person to the state legislature who is an ordained minister,” vowing that he would defend the religious liberties of Christians from the Democrats’ attempt to impose a theocracy upon them.

“I’m running to oppose a theocracy,” Klingenschmitt said. “The Democrats are the ones pushing a theocracy on us”
