Jessica Sloan, 31, faces attempted murder charges. Witnesses told police they saw Sloan’s car stopped near the train tracks. She got out and placed the baby on the tracks and ran away, said Pueblo police.

According to her arrest affidavit, Sloan said she was hearing voices. She said that Jesus Christ pulled the baby from her arms, the affidavit said.

She also told investigators that “God/Jehova” told her the baby would be safe.
