Four people were shot at a Detroit tax preparation office when a check he was expecting wasn’t ready.

The shooter pumped several rounds into Tax City, on the East Side, striking two females employees, a male employee and a male security guard, after an expected check was not ready, according to police.

The injuries ranged from hand and leg wounds to one person having been shot in the chest, according to WDIV. One of the wounded is in critical condition, the other three are serious, WXYZ reported.

Aerial footage from the scene showed the front window shot out after the 3.30pm incident that occurred after a man became enraged after finding out his refund check was not yet ready, cops said.

A dispute ensued, with the shooting suspect punching a female employee in the face before being escorted out by the security guard, according to WXYZ.
