Christian Pregnancy Center Leader’s Son Charged With Ransacking Abortion Clinic
The son of a crisis pregnancy center board member has been charged with attacking one of the state’s only abortion clinics.
Authorities in Kalispell arrested Zachary Jordan Klundt while he was allegedly trying to break into a local bail bonds shop. They later matched his shoe print to one taken at All Families Health Care after an office worker reported finding the clinic damaged earlier this week.
RH Reality Check reported that the suspect’s mother, Twyla Klundt, is a member of the board at Hope Pregnancy Ministries, a Christian facility also located in Kalispell.
All Families manager Susan Cahill told RH Reality Check that the suspect’s mother has told patients that Cahill’s husband, an acupuncturist, “does the work of the devil.” Cahill also said she believes the incident was part of an attempt to intimidate the clinic — one of only four in the state — into shutting down.
