The girl was sitting in her car with her parents in Houston Saturday night.

The girl’s parents saw a car ahead of them on Allen Genoa Road driving erratically, weaving back and forth around 10:30 p.m. and decided to pass it.

When they did, the driver of the car allegedly fired three shots into the air.

Both vehicles stopped at a red light and the driver fired several shots at the family’s SUV and sped away.

“There was a three-year-old in a carseat and apparently one of the bullets, I believe, grazed the right leg of the three-year-old female,” South Houston Police Chief Herbert Gilbert told KTRK-TV.
