The indications were there, but it’s not clear that the pieces could have been assembled to predict the mass shootings.

Elliot Rodger’s most disturbing video about his plans to kill a large number of people he had never met, was removed from YouTube (you can still watch it here). But others remain, with titles like “Why do girls hate me so much?” and “Elliot Rodger, Lonely Vlog, Life is so unfair,” mostly recorded over the last couple of days.

As it is likely that Rodger’s other videos could soon disappear from YouTube, [Mediaite has] put together a collection of the most unnerving videos from his channel, which could give a further glimpse into the mind of the 22-year-old who is believed to have committed this horrific act.

    It is difficult to process this young man. Why did no one see how far off the track that he was?
    We have become a society where we ignore people that we don’t want to see and don’t want to deal with. There are literally millions of people in our country that we have made invisible because we don’t choose to see how tragic things are in their life personally.
    And this is what happens.

      I forget where it was I read it but the parents were worried and contacted the police a month ago. They looked into it and decided there wasn’t anything there.
