Podcaster and comedian Adam Carolla is doubling down on his claim that the “gay mafia” stifles free speech. He claims in his book that gays “just turned into a mafia and demanding everyone apologize for every joke and retract every statement.” Now he tells the Daily Caller:

“What I’m saying is if you are a late night show host and you got a joke about Chaz Bono, keep that one in your pocket,” Carolla said.

“And by the way there are many different groups now — and there always have been,” he continued. “But I’m just saying: You get out there and make a joke about you fill in the blank group — sexuality, sexual proclivities, whatever it is — they’ll come after you. And they can make things very difficult. And at a certain point people just realize it’s more trouble than it’s worth. I’m not going to say that joke ’cause I don’t even want to deal with it.”

“So what it is it is sort of stifling,” he argued.

People aren’t laughing at his jokes, so it must be the Gay Mafia’s fault.

This guy is an unfunny bigoted jerk. Who cares what he thinks.

Bill Maher was kicked off his broadcast television show because he said the following about President Bush characterizing the 9/11 murderers as cowards.

“”“We have been the cowards, lobbing cruise missiles from 2,000 miles away. That’s cowardly,” Maher said according to transcripts (video below). “Staying in the airplane when it hits the building, say what you want about it, it’s not cowardly,” he concluded.””

Maher did not whine about some sort of “mafia”. So Mr. Carolla, follow Maher’s example instead of following the current right wing playbook of running to some blog with some tale of woe about being a victim.

Stop whining, and go start your own show where you can say whatever you want

Aw, it’s stifling. That must suck to be stifled. To have your horrible, assholish, hurtful behavior stifled. Like we lived in a society or something, with manners and laws and stuff. Must be so hard.

I never though he had any talent. His stick is boring and not funny. So I guess I can see why he is complaining when his best jokes are the ones only a bigot could write. So long loser.
