I have to wonder where is all of the righteous indignation and concern for the integrity of the electoral process that you usually find emanating from the right wing noise machine.
Non-existent voter fraud gives them a case of the vapors.
But conservative political operatives are found in a courthouse at 2am where ballots are stored, and there is nary a peep or whisper of discontent. What gives?
Oh now I’ve got it. They just haven’t figured out a way to blame the President yet. But fear not, the day is young.

From another TPM story (different from the link I posted above) Lane called to say she was locked in with a female friend, but she actually was in there with two men, both associated with McDaniel. The downside to this is, if it stains McDaniel badly enough, he may withdraw, Cochran will get the nom and win easily in November. The dems have a chance again McDaniel.

There was a recent story about a man in Minnesota who shot and killed two teenagers execution style because they walked into his garage which he had purposely left open as a “trap”.. The man was found guilty of murder. Lots of blog posters said the homeowner was perfectly justified in killing trespassers. Sean Hannity was one prominent conservative who attempted to defend this man, criticizing the man only for referring to the two murdered teenagers as “vermin”. .
I wonder what they would say if some poor unsuspecting custodian in that courthouse, doing his job at 2am in the morning, shot and killed the intruding TeaPartiers with his/her legal firearm, without first bothering to find out who they were and why they were there.

The latest update on this (via TPM) is the sheriff’s dept says the excuses given by the three locked inside don’t match and no “uniformed personnel” misdirected them. the statement that they “were directed by a police officer to an unlocked door.” Strikes me as odd. Why is there an unlocked door at this courthouse? Is this how security works in Mississippi? Someone’s got some ‘splainin’ to do!
