We kid you not. It will be a King James Bible with added commentary by Phil Robertson and his son, Alan.

The Duck Commander Faith and Family Bible will be released by Christian publisher Thomas Nelson, and will focus on five values of the Robertson family: “Faith, Family, Fellowship, Forgiveness, and Freedom.”

The two Robertsons will write 30 “life-changing testimonials,” as well as 125 “Set Your Sights” features, for the Bible. Their writings will add some personal insight on “how they’ve seen God transform lives and accomplish His plans for people.”

This will likely be well-received by right-wing Christians. But imagine of a liberal did his or her own Bible. There would be outrage about how God is being blasphemed.

“Faith, Family, Fellowship, Forgiveness, and Freedom.”

Can someone kindly inform these people that most if not all families share those values regardless of whether or not they are Christians.

Can we add “fakery” to this? I used to watch the show for one reason only – it was funny. Of course it was all tightly scripted and the Robertson’s are all rich as bank robbers, but the show stayed away from their obviously rabid right wing beliefs in an effort to appeal to more viewers.
They have now become just one more FAUX news show .. not worth watching especially since it puts even MORE money into their greedy mouths.

Wonder if he/they will comment on pedophilia. According to the bible, if you’re old enough to bleed, you’re old enough to breed.

I wonder if ole homophobe Robertson is aware that King James was gay.

I’ve been anxiously waiting for someone in the RW to re-write the Bible – should have known it would be the FAKERS from Duck Dynasty who would climb on the bandwagon for even MORE money. How much money do religious nuts need?

What good is religion if you can’t make a dollar off of it?
    Yeah, this sounds right.

Will it be made in China or Pakistan like all their other DD items they sell through Walmart. — I thought it funny seeing a DD item with Christian quotes “Made in Pakistan” — Yes definitely time to vote out all those Un-Godly Republicans that do nothing for the downtrodden, while proclaiming their faith in Christ. — I think they have a rude awakening coming when they get judged.
