Louisiana Congressman Vince McAllister is considering running to keep his seat, which would be a reversal of his previous decision not to run, one made after video surface of the married “family values” politician kissing a staffer.

McAllister, a political newcomer who won a special election in Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District this past November, faced calls to resign from fellow Republicans in April after a Louisiana newspaper posted video of the married congressman kissing an aide in his congressional office.

On April 28, McAllister released a statement saying he would not run again and describing his conduct as a “personal failure.”

However, McAllister’s office told Fox News late Tuesday that he is rethinking his decision after seeing polling data placing him ahead of other challengers.

He’s rethinking the even lamer candidacy of ‘duck values’ vs his obviously failed “family values” philandering shenanigans. http://www.alan.com/2014/06/16/duck-dynasty-kin-running-for-congress/

This kind of contradiction would be nothing new for the GOP.

It is filled with politicians enjoying the benefits of government managed health care who tell us that government managed health care is the death of liberty.

Another family values” politician who does not practice those family values is simply another in a long line of Republicans who say “do as I say, not as I do”.
