The veteran lost his job at a Venice, FL Cracker Barrel because he gave a small bit of food to a needy person.

Joe Koblenzer has been working for three years as greeter for the restaurant. “It’s a fun job; a job really suited to me,” he told the station.

When a man who looked like he was homeless came by two weeks ago, Koblenzer didn’t think twice about helping him. “He looked a little needy,” said Koblenzer. “He asked if I had any mayonnaise and some tarter sauce. He said he was going to cook a fish.”

Koblenzer didn’t hesitate to help the man, bringing him tarter sauce packets. “I got it for him. As I walked out I put a corn muffin in.”

Koblenzer is, however, a multiple offender:

Koblenzer admits it was his third strike. Two years ago he was written up for getting a fountain drink on the job and a second time he gave a cup of coffee to woman, though Koblenzer insists she paid for it.

What a horrible man!

Good thing Jesus didn’t work there. He’d have been taken out and shot for that loaves and fishes stunt.

A corn muffin, an unauthorized coffee, and an unauthorized fountain drink in the span of two years?! Clearly that man wanted to bankrupt Cracker Barrel!

I’d be glad to distribute free muffins to all of the participants at the recent “Faith and Freedom” confab organized by Ralph Reed. Him I’d give two muffins to. I’d cook the muffins with my own special recipe. It would be the last free muffins those ba—–s ever accepted.

As if Cracker Barrel could not afford some charity ?? They have over priced, mediocre food and a gift shop that sells junk at exorbitant prices. I hope that Mr. Koblenzer finds a job, if he wants another job, where his decency is appreciated.
