The man wielded a knife and supposedly said he wanted to “kill Michael Strahan.”

Andre Johnson, 25, pulled out a knife on a security guard outside “Good Morning America’s” Times Square studio at around 8 a.m., according to the sources.

A police officer working security detail for ABC Studios quickly intervened and knocked the blade from Johnson’s hand.
When the maniac was questioned by police he said, “I was there to kill Michael Strahan,” according to police sources.

The former NFL star was not in an danger and was he not even aware of the incident until later in the afternoon, a source said.
