It’s not clear what led to this brutality, but it is clear that it is brutality.

David Diaz caught the incident on camera, and although it is not clear what exactly sparked the altercation, Diaz believes it is a clear use of excessive force. The clip shows the officer chasing a woman along the side of the road on foot before grabbing her, throwing her to the ground, and repeatedly punching her in the face.

“There was no weapons, it’s obviously excess force at this point,” said Diaz. “He could have easily calmed her down. You can use strength without punching.”

CHP says the woman was resisting arrest. As if that justifies what we see on this video.

How law enforcement is hired and trained needs to be scrutinized and changed.

    • mcalleyboy July 5th, 2014 at 9:28 pm

Law enforcement is not needed and a waste of money it also takes away many of our freedoms.

      • Carla Akins July 6th, 2014 at 12:16 am

Really? Law enforcement is trained to respond properly and is trained and aware of legal precedent. The idea that Joe Citizen id fully aware of proper procedure is ridiculous and an open book for lawsuits. BTW, you’re an idiot.

I live in a country where it does work they have whats called a barangay and these men are unarmed but come out and try to deal with situations, they don’t give out tickets they document issues. You live in a police state and I feel most Liberals love this kind of world, police get called for every little minor issue. Apparently you haven’t attended a Carry Concealed weapon course, the rules are discussed throughly in classroom and you also must pass a written exam on those rules….define idiot?

          • Carla Akins July 6th, 2014 at 9:03 am

Attending a concealed and carry class is hardly a requirement for every citizen, so I stand by my statement. A trained member of law enforcement should handle these issue for a number of reasons; foremost it’s their job.In this particular case, he needs to be fired, and chances are should have never been hired but it doesn’t change the reasoning for having law enforcement handle illegal actions. I choose not to live in “Lord of the Flies” land.

Your’e into rules but hate the police, that’s your message to me.

          • dragontech64 July 7th, 2014 at 10:45 am

Carla said quite the opposite of what you believe she said. But then, you’ve already proven you are a moron, so we are not surprised that you want to redefine the words of the English Language.

          • dragontech64 July 6th, 2014 at 10:57 pm

I am not into listening to someone in another country tell the US how to run our country. So piss off back to your own and STFU about how America does its own internal policies.

          • mcalleyboy July 7th, 2014 at 4:00 am

You won’t listen to a citizen who lives abroad but you’ll listen hard and long to an illegal immigrant and refugee, take a pill and calm down.

          • dragontech64 July 7th, 2014 at 10:45 am

Who said anything about listening to illegals or refugees? Are you deliberately trying to be this stupid, or is it just a natural talent with you?

      • dragontech64 July 6th, 2014 at 5:15 pm

  6. mcalleyboy July 5th, 2014 at 9:26 pm

Liberal rules, this is your fault for implementing so many tough laws, shouldn’t even be a police force but we have law enforcement so you don’t plant that garden in the city, jay walk, put up that flag of choice, leave that old car rotting in your front yard it’s an eye sore for liberals, or farm animal in the back yard. Reason some people move remote.
