Chris McDaniel is desperate to prove that he beat Thad Cochran in Mississippi’s primary. He’s offering $1000 for evidence of voter fraud.

The Clarion Ledger:

McDaniel is asking supporters for donations to fund up to 15 such bounties for evidence that leads to arrests and convictions and for help financing his challenge of the vote.

He claims Cochran and others stole the primary through vote buying and other skullduggery.

The Cochran campaign counters the claims are baseless and McDaniel needs to “put up or shut up,” present evidence of voter fraud or concede defeat.

With all of the Tea Party cheating how’d they lose? Busted! On Election night Tea Party president and McDaniel staffer were among three found locked in Mississippi courthouse at 3:45 a.m. An official investigation has been opened:

“There are conflicting stories from the three of them, which began to raise the red flag, and we’re trying to get to the bottom of it,”-said Hinds County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Othor Cain said investigators are trying to figure out how Janis Lane, Scott Brewster and Rob Chambers entered the courthouse. They were inside until about 3:45 a.m., Cain said.

Brewster is a former coordinator of presidential candidate Newt Gingrich’s Mississippi operation and is currently McDaniel’s campaign coalition coordinator. http://www.clarionledger.com/story/news/2014/06/04/tea-party-official-locked-inside-courthouse/9963579/

I gotta wonder if these Watergate wannabes stuffed the ballot boxes with votes for the wrong candidate. They’re not too bright at any rate. McDaniel has a lot of nerve–brains not so much.

The three of them behind locked doors what could be wrong there?

  3. Shades July 5th, 2014 at 8:44 am

Why didn’t he just offer it to the guy who said he was owed $15K from Cochran? Could it be the (not so) Rev Stevie Fielder isn’t a reliable witness after all?

Republicans are convinced they are committing voter fraud. It makes my head spin.
On an off topic note, I love the front page displaying the current number of posts on each article. Nice touch.

Why can’t the Republicans be like every one of the Dimwhitcrats? Fraud is the Dimwhitcrats middle name.

      • Republicans_are_Evil July 5th, 2014 at 5:15 pm

Do you right wingers get some sort of childish glee out of making up silly names for your political rivals? It seems so grade-school. You would think adults would rise above the behavior of children.

Not to mention he can’t spell for shit. Think we should tell him there’s no “h” in “dimwit?”

  5. crc3 July 5th, 2014 at 9:32 am

Only $1K? In today’s political arena that’s not much money. Must mean he’s broke. Too bad you busted loser!!

    • ChrisVosburg July 5th, 2014 at 12:14 pm

Yeah, what a cheapskate. My price for finding evidence of rigged elections is $1500.

    • ShelleysLeg July 6th, 2014 at 10:46 am

Sounds like a Christine O’Donnell/George Zimma type scam to raise some money so he can postpone getting a job in the ‘real’ world.

He’s just mad cuz he won’t get all those stinkin’ gummint benefits and retirement.

The butthurt is strong with that one.

The McDaniel camp’s claim of voting fraud is yet another example of tea-chuggers reaching a conclusion that is desperately in need of an evidence-based rationalization.

  8. cajanone1 July 5th, 2014 at 5:09 pm

Not desperate as low life Colmes would wish. Just wanting the truth and liberals can’t handle it can they Alan?

    • Republicans_are_Evil July 5th, 2014 at 5:16 pm

Here we witness another right winger bearing false witness against every liberal. This is more sin than all the abortions combined. This is pure evil on display for all the world to see.

Tea party lunatics are amusing. They scream about blacks only voting for liberals until blacks vote for a conservative then they scream about that. I get the feeling they just don’t like blacks voting at all.

  10. LiberalMD July 6th, 2014 at 5:13 am

Another example of how money can’t buy you marbles. Evidently the TP’ers have nothing better to spend their money on. May I suggest they use some of their filthy money to do some of that charitable work they don’t want the government doing.

  11. ShelleysLeg July 6th, 2014 at 10:44 am

Wow, he thinks a FEW votes made the difference? LOL!! More proof that baggers cannot grasp the simplest math!

  12. Lwayno July 6th, 2014 at 11:06 am

Hey Dumnuts, it was the Tea-Braggers that tried to rig that election!

  13. Lwayno July 6th, 2014 at 11:07 am

When in doubt pick the lesser of 2 evils!

  14. Dwendt44 July 6th, 2014 at 5:45 pm

If he just finds one case, I’m sure he’ll claim that it’s prove there was wide spread fraud and the election should be reversed.

  15. voice_reason July 7th, 2014 at 4:41 pm

What about the evidence he said he had last week? and the week before that? Besides, $1,000 bucks sure isn’t a whole lot of money top pay someone to concoct evidence!
