C-SPAN Gives Voice To 9/11 Truthers. What Year Is It Again?
This is like debating gravity. I was wondering why so many “truthers” called my show Friday night quoting some group called “Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth”. That is some fancy name, and implies that serious, educated people must know what really happened on 9/11. After all, the government is so good at preventing leaks that it’s really really plausible that, in all the years since, no one in our government who planned planes hitting buildings in 2001 has come forward.
What’s next for C-SPAN, featuring a guest who says there was no moon landing in 1969?

Why not just bring on Alex Jones? They can also discuss how babies are sacrificed at Bohemian Grove. And how the Russian Army was on maneuvers in the Arkansas National Forest. And how many astronauts were killed to keep secret the “fact” that we never landed on the moon. And how Lizard People inhabit major world leader’s bodies. And how black helicopters transport rightwingwers to FEMA camps to reeducate them. And how chemtrails….do bad stuff. And how thumbprints on your driver’s license are the mark of Satan. All these and more are equally worthy of discussion, if you’re going to pretend that there’s a realistic reason to discuss 911 “truth.”

I was watching Alex Jones years before he became huge. He started on ACTV, the Austin CableVision channels designed to provide a free place for the community to have a voice. Jones, like others, took a class in how to operate the equipment, got a time slot, and started his idiocy. In the late eighties, I knew his coke dealer, and boy, can he tell some stories. Jones is a mentally ill, drug addicted lunatic. An old friend of mine is a psychiatrist at the Austin State Hospital…. We used to smoke high grade dope, watch Jones rant, and he would explain to me the MYRIAD of psychological issues Jones suffered from, and what types of drugs he needed to be on.

Yeah, guys like him have been around forever, they were just not nearly as accessible. I used to watch the late night crazies, Joe Pine, early Morton Downey Jr., etc. and laugh at how ridiculous they were. Who knew it would become a career to power and wealth! If only I didn’t have scruples, sigh.

I watched an hour of a two hour Alex jones movie I did not have an argument against his claims, that the government creates fear to gain control of our laws. we already know this to be fact from our history. I did not like all of his “proofs” I then turned to the crux of my search which was 9/11. I went to the earliest documentaries and I find this movie IN THEIR OWN WORDS http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/in-their-own-words/ very credible and I believe the questions deserve answers You watch ALAN and stop insulting people. George W Bush was not very bright. Anything could happen and DID.

Honestly, I think a lot of things were at play when we were bombed on 9/11, but we will never know because the documents are classified. So for that reason, I don’t speculate because it would be fact-less.

cAPSLOCK is a religious movement. To them the Lord hates the lower case letters (for they were evil in his sight) and thus banished them from the keyboard by interting a single button that once pushed on discussion boards would show who the righteous in his flock among the commenters were and demostrate to the world the superiority of their views over the evil heathens who still use the lower case and only put on exclamation point at the end of their sentence! (!!!!!!)

I am basing this only on my personal experiances with 9/11 Truthers so I am not judging the whole group by there mere 100 or so I have delt with over the years. The ones I actually know, when you find out their other opinions, tend to be anti-semites on a level that I didn’t know still existed in America. They tend to go on and on about how the Jews run all the banks and Hollywood and the governent and how easy it would be for them to conspire to pull off such an operation. When pressed on facts they resort to paranoid attacks on Jews and often openly use stereo types. Any gaps in their stories are covered with “that’s what they want you to think.” For this reason I think the Truther movement is not a bunch of goofy paranoids but an actual danger to our country.

I spent three years of my life doing nothing but going over almost every element of the events on September 11th 2001. I guarentee the Truthers would never want me to go over their “proof.” Using the scientific method it is very a simple process to poke semi-truck sizes holes in their theories. They aren’t “asking questions” they are making crazy accusations and using an endless inquiry as a way to raise the fear level to achieve their own political ends. Like Chem-Trails. Like the Moon-Landing. Like climate change denial. It’s all part of the same shell game. Keep us suspecting each other while they rake in the profits from fear mongering.

Sorry Alan.
The name doesn’t imply that ANYONE knows what REALLY happened on 911.
Only that the Serious and Educated people have concluded that two airplanes did not cause 3 sky scrapers to fall at nearly free fall speed into their own footprints.
And they are calling for a real investigation.
Nothing more and nothing less.
You know nothing about A/E for 911 truth, who they are, what they stand for and what they conclude because you haven’t done the research.
