Cliven Bundy: God Warned Me Of Civil War
Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy says God was on his side in his confrontation with a government he doesn’t recognize.
Bundy, a Mormon, told an Independent American Party gathering in St. George, Utah, on Saturday that God provided him personal inspiration in the showdown over cattle in Bunkerville, Nevada, about 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas.
“The Lord told me … if [the local sheriff doesn’t] take away these arms from federal agents, we the people will have to face these arms in a civil war. He said, `This is your chance to straighten this thing up,’” Bundy said, according to The Spectrum of St. George.
“If the standoff with the Bundys was wrong, would the Lord have been with us?” Bundy asked, noting that no one was killed as tensions escalated. “Could those people that stood without fear and went through that spiritual experience … have done that without the Lord being there? No they couldn’t.”

Dear God, the whole Humas/Isreal thing is getting pretty bad can you talk to them? Hey also there seems to be a large child sex slavery thing going on in every corner of the planet, could you maybe intervene in that? Bundy has one point correct: if things keep going the way they are then there will at some point be another civil war…provoked by the same types as provoked the last one except it won’t be regional, it will be national and ideological/social. There is a reason the crazy right-wing fascists are arming themselves to the teeth and passing state laws allowing them to do so. Which is why anti-fascists of whatever persuasion (not just “liberals”) had better seriously start thinking about arming themselves. I am not a doomsdayer but the country is now infinitely more divided than at the height of the Vietnam War..I lived thru that and write thus from personal knowledge. It’s getting worse with the Republicans now essentially a fascist party AND (here it comes) our feckless, laid-back, no-drama president doing nothing effectively to fight against this trend.

I wonder who this “God” is and why would He tell Cliven Bundy anything at all. Who told these shit kickers they had a right to talk to God and because God told them this and that, then this and that is law? The only natural law there is is Nature. Cliven Bundy only talked to his own brain, which is only God to Mr. Bundy himself.
