This time, it’s “Japs”, as in how America “crushed the evil of Japs and Nazis.” The Nuge was speaking to the Big Horn Basin Tea Party in Wymong about how that great government that once defeated evil has now “turned on us.”

NUGENT: I know I’m speaking your language. I know nothing I’ve said surprises you except maybe the insane depth of this self-inflicted curse of apathy. We have bent over since World War II because we couldn’t believe that good — the universally celebrated good of America crushed the universally understood evil of Japs and Nazis. We couldn’t believe that that government that represented us in good over evil could possibly turn on us. They’ve turned on us. They’ve literally turned on us, ranchers being arrested because of gerbils on their range or some families arrested because the EPA claims they are building a barn on a wetland where for 200 years of satellite documentation, no moisture.

    200 years of satellite documentation, no moisture

    Wait, wat?!?! Did he get data from some extraterrestrial source prior to the earliest satellite imaging technology? I want to give him the benefit of context, but I just can’t.

      Sounds like he’s winding up for his climate change conversion!

    Looks like a big crowd, big,,maybe double digits!

    • Tommy6860 August 5th, 2014 at 6:35 pm

      10 x 1 is still 10 :P. These racist herds have diminished into amounts of ones of ones. I suspect that maybe mirrors will be used after that to give the effect anyone comes to these gatherings at all.

    Why does the media keep Nugent in the spotlight? He’s certifiable and that’s all I want to know about him….

    • Anomaly 100 August 5th, 2014 at 7:26 pm

      He’s an NRA board member. Their idiots should be in the spotlight.

    “We have bent over since World War II because we couldn’t believe that good — the universally celebrated good of America…” of which you have contributed not one little bit! You whiny, useless puke.

    • Tommy6860 August 5th, 2014 at 6:59 pm

      Well he went from poopy pants to talking shit, it’s all relevant to him.

      • Robert Keith Johnston August 6th, 2014 at 3:44 am

        He’s been talking–and playing–shit for decades!
        What’s to stop him from keeping on keeping on?
        He will pay for his mischief…in this world AND the next!

    This is news? The guy IS an ethnic slur!

    Brit = a British person

    Aussie = an Australian person

    Kiwi = a New Zealander

    Yank = a Yankee

    Pole = a Polish person

    but … Jap a Japanese person

    It may seem like common sense to those of us who actually learned History in school and from our parents. But for kids growing up today? My wife’s cousin and I were talking about Jefferson and the Declaration of Independence one day. He asked me “So what happened when they sent it to England? Did they just say ‘okay’, or what?”. He had no clue about the Revolutionary War. Language is a product of History. Without an understanding of History, a person’s understanding of language and culture is very limited.

    People throw around words like ‘gypped’ and ‘barbarian’ without ever stopping to think about how these words were derived from negative stereotypes about the Romani people or Europe and the Berber people of North Africa.

    Yep, keep flapping your ignorant, bigoted, right wing trap Ted. Keep digging your party’s grave, deeper and deeper.

    He didn’t let anything “slip”, that is his daily language.

    • JCF August 6th, 2014 at 4:16 pm

      It truly is: I was unfortunate enough to be eating at a restaurant Nuge visited. This kind of bigotry spewed out of his mouth loud enough for the whole place to hear (he didn’t care!).

    “the EPA claims they are building a barn on a wetland where for 200 years of satellite documentation, no moisture”.
    Apparently NASA has been around since James Madison.
    I find it offensive that a guy who crapped himself in order to fail a draft physical uses the term “we” when he talks of American armed conflict in WWII

  14. fancypants August 6th, 2014 at 2:40 am

    plagiarism doesn’t get you anywhere ted

  15. Shades August 6th, 2014 at 9:08 am

    Yeah, that’ll help.

    USA! USA!! We been having satellite surveillance for 220 years? Our Founding Fathers WERE far more hip than we knew! Look what they launched a couple of decades AFTER 1776!!

  17. edmeyer_able August 6th, 2014 at 2:39 pm

    It’s not really a ‘slip’ when it’s a part of your everyday vocabulary.

  18. Jeff Baker August 6th, 2014 at 7:03 pm

    I misread this at first: Nugent Lets Slip Tea Party at Ethnic Slur Event.

  19. Mary Green August 7th, 2014 at 7:11 am
