KKK Protesters On ‘Illegal Immigration’ In North Carolina Rage Against ‘Mixed Breeds’
KKK members protested outside the Montgomery County courthouse in Troy, North Carolina on Saturday, but counter-protesters outnumbered them.
The Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan said they had planned to speak against “illegal immigration” but instead of a formal speech, the racist group shouted words of white power and hate against “mixed breeds.”
The permit obtained by the Klan group was for one hour but that time-slot became a shouting match between the hate group and the counter-protesters across the street. Troy police, Montgomery County deputies and highway patrol officers had to separate the two groups, according to WGHP. Charlotte resident Scout Rosen drove to protest against the Klan rally. “This is my home state and I think a lot of us are pretty disturbed with the idea of them thinking that this is the kind of place they can have those kinds of rallies,” he said.
