The chicken sandwich in the Morehead City, North Carolina McDonald’s drive-thru came with an unexpected symbol inside the bun.

Charleigh Matice, said when she went to put mayonnaise on her bun she found a swastika etched in butter on it…

“Many people died because of that symbol and it’s not something that should be taken lightly. It’s not something that should be thrown around,” Matice said.

She said when she went inside the restaurant employees offered to replace it.

“I really didn’t have an appetite at that point so I said I rather have my money back,” Matice said.

McDonald’s issued a statement:

“We are very sorry for the service that our customers received, and to be clear we have terminated the employee who was involved. We do not tolerate that kind of behavior at McDonald’s, and it’s not what we stand for personally as owners. It is about providing the best level of service and care to our customers, and anything less than that is unacceptable to us.” – Dulcy Purcell, local McDonald’s Owner/Operator in Morehead City, NC

Somehow, the thought of eating that crap, with even more fat added to it, is the more horrifying of the two.

i actually do. i check to see if the extras i ordered are there or if its correct period. and this person likely ordered extra butter. you might want to try it. not the extra butter, checking your food. furthermore, the person that did it was fired.

      Actually, I do.
I’m allergic to mayonnaise, so I always “pop the top” on any sandwich I order at a restaurant. I do it to see if they got my “no mayo” request correct…and I call them on that if they did not follow my request.
For some folks, checking their order can save a trip to the ER…or worse.
