Thousands Of Women Still Want To Be In University Of Alabama’s Racist Sororities
We told you in March that sororities at the University of Alabama won the right to ban blacks. It’s now sorority week, and more women than ever are expected to rush.
For all the continued interest in these organizations, it’s not clear that real, systemic change has been made within them. After the Crimson White‘s report came out last year, school administrators forced sororities to engage in continuous open bidding, which resulted in 21 minority women getting bids at the end of 2013.
Despite that bit of progress, #RushWeek photos of “potential new members” shared to Twitter and Instagram this week look pretty similar to those posted last year.
After students, unhappy with what they considered a sluggish response to the bombshell expose, marched on campus, University officials admitted they were aware the school’s Greek system was segregated, and had been for years.
President Judy Bonner ultimately implemented an unorthodox late-stage bidding process to give sororities the chance to extend bids to women who might have been previously denied. UA officials say the process was a success, with more than 21 minority women accepting bids.
So, that publication, again, is called the Crimson White???

Yeah, noticed that too, and found, thank you Wikipedia, that the wee student paper was first called the Crimson-White (UA sports teams colors) in 1894, back before the ampersand was invented I guess, but lost the hyphen in the sixties, probably due to typesetters hopped up on goofballs and them left-handed cigareets.
Permit me to suggest a more apt name The Crimson Neck.

Like the lgbt subculture it is the idea of being excluded more than a desire to be a part of something that drives objections to exclusive social organizations. Hey, your kinda dumb aren’t ya? You know there are no “black only” Schools, right? You could go to one if you wanted to and no one would stop you. There are Historically Black schools, created in part because there were WHITES ONLY SCHOOLS! So blacks got a wild hair up their asses and said, and I quote: “Hey other black folks I got an idea. Let’s make schools that WE can like totally get into.” and so they did, AND there was much feasting on chicken and watermelon. Yes we eat those things because they’re effing delicious and you think so too. I still don’t understand how we got that as a thing, anyway. Actually I’m wrong, there is one black only school. The Muhammed University of Islam accepts only black NOI students…Feel free to take that up with them. I’m sure they’ll listen on bated breath.
So thus the historically black schools were created that you have misunderstood as “black only” schools…And there was much feasting. I’m mocking you right now mainly because it’s really easy. Black TV Networks, Magazines etc…for real, that’s a real question you just asked? Why don’t look up who Sumner Redstone is someday and then have that as a question?

I was going to get a little angry but not I just kind of feel sad for you, not be able to form reasonable thought processes and such.
I’m glad I donate money to groups like the National Association for Retarded Citizens, granted that still wouldn’t explain your racism and cognitive dissonance but it would help you get help for your reasoning skills.
