Florida Man Dreams Girlfriend Cheated, Beats Her, Hurts Her Dog
A 27-year-old Florida man allegedly terrorized his girlfriend after he had a dream that she had cheated on him. The North Miami-Dade man held his girlfriend captive in her home for an entire day, according to police.
When Carlos Gascon passed out, the woman managed to call for help.
Monroe County Sheriff’s spokesperson Becky Herrin said Gascon beat, slashed her leg with a knife, poured hot coffee on her and even threatened to kill her while holding a knife to her throat, CBS Miami reports.
Herrin said the woman told authorities that Gascon “was angry at her because he had a dream she was cheating on him.”
He then allegedly picked up his dog and slammed it to the ground. At that point, Herrin said the suspect then put his foot on the dog’s neck.
According to CBS Miami, Gascon is charged with aggravated battery, aggravated assault, domestic battery by strangulation, battery, false imprisonment, and animal cruelty. His bail is set at $265,000.

My guess is that he was cheating and his dreams were giving him a hard time and projecting his actions onto someone he loved. His subconscious was a mess’n with him …

Well it is Florida that still has a large number who supports crooks, racist, and women haters even with the recent history of embarrassing situations to that state, it is easy to assume he will get the lightest sentence (probably will have the book thrown at him for the animal cruelty because Republicans respect animals over people) since the victim is a woman and naturally to right wingers all women are going to cheat anyway. I hope I am wrong, but Florida has not been impressive recently.
