Mom Says ‘Devil Made Me’ Toss 1-Year-old Son Down 50-Foot Embankment
Police said a mother threw her child down a 50 foot embankment on Saturday afternoon near a home in Northwest Spokane, Washington. The woman claims the devil made her do it.
A man said he saw the mother throw the 1-year-old over the fence and into the embankment. The boy then fell 50 feet and hit a tree, but survived the fall.
According to Crimesider, witnesses told police that Destiny Ahenakew, 25, took out a bible and prayed before throwing the child. Court documents stated she told a witness “the devil made me do it.” Another person who was present at the scene managed to reach the baby and bring him up from the embankment to safety.
Officials said the child was transported to a hospital and sustained non-life threatening injuries. The boy was released from the hospital and into the custody of family members, according to KREM.
Authorities said Ahenakew was recently arrested for driving a stolen car. Bail was set at $50,000. Prosecutors requested that if the suspect posts bail, it be mandatory she cannot use methamphetamine, however, police did not reveal whether she was under the influence of drugs during the incident.

Society found it highly suspicious, instituted laws in spite of what a deity would incorporate into our imagination and reality.

Hey, when “God” instructed Dubya to invade Iraq, it raised no eyebrows among his constituents (and may also have made him a right wing hero). Maybe the devil DID make her do it.
