Poor Rush, Misunderstood By The ‘Liberal Media’
[su_right_ad]Poor Rush Limbaugh isn’t understood properly by the liberal media. This harmless little fuzzball meant no harm when he conflated the death of Robin Williams with leftist culture. You see, the agenda-driven left-wing media has done what it always does: taken this well-meaning, kind, loving person and “purposely” misquoted him.
He declared that he’s been “misquoted, purposely taken out of context” by the liberal media on these remarks. Limbaugh said he doesn’t know why Williams killed himself, and turned the tables on the media. He said, “They are the ones trying to tell us why. They are the ones trying to explain it. They are the ones justifying it. They are the ones glorifying it.”
Limbaugh insisted he was expressing a serious concern that the media’s “irresponsible” coverage would lead to copycat suicides. Yesterday, Limbaugh had said that liberals are “never happy” and Williams’ tragic death “fits a certain picture… that the left has” about success in the United States.
When will the far-left finally wake up and realize the pure intentions of this kindly broadcaster?

The surviving friends and family of suicide simply love to hear crack pot theories about how why our loved one did it from people who never knew them. We also love how their deaths get swept under the rug because of some made up ‘copy cat’ effect that is really just a poor excuse for people to avoid talking about issues that make them uncomfortable.

Mind you I wasn’t all that impressed when I read it. Certainly wasn’t the time nor the place for those particular pot shots.

Having seen the full transcripts myself (and heard the rant since they play Rush at work ugh he is a disgusting human being.) I have to say that their clipping of his statements wasn’t taking liberties so much as cutting out the pleghm filled hatered and stupidity he puts out in order to draw up the meat and potatoes of his BS statements.
