I hope that they identify every officer that pointed a weapon at a civilian is given 2 week w/o pay and sent for retraining on what to do in case a PEACEFUL DEMONSTRATION ever breaks out again.

They should only be allowed to have rubber bullets until they under go extensive retraining and psychological counseling.

What do you call it when an entire police force goes rogue, deciding that the constitutional protections of the First Amendment no longer apply in Ferguson?

  8. NelsonRobison August 14th, 2014 at 12:59 pm

The facts on the ground are that the chief of police of Ferguson MO instead of honoring and protecting the right to assemble peacefully, chose to escalate the protests by using military tactics and equipment. Quelling legal assemblies with military equipment is not only dangerous but sets an enormous precedent that will only escalate the next protests until someone is murdered.

    • BanditBasheert August 14th, 2014 at 1:12 pm

It looked like all the police equipment carried the “St Louis Police Department” logo – Ferguson requested help from a SWAT TEAM in RIOT GEAR evidently. Then tried to provoke a riot.

I’m working on my smartphone right now. My computer had caught a virus and it’ll take a week to get it all done. I’m lost without it so I haven’t been able to view videos at normal size.

    • edmeyer_able August 14th, 2014 at 1:15 pm

Twitter is wondering when John McCainiac will request air strikes on the demonstrators.

      • NelsonRobison August 14th, 2014 at 1:50 pm

That wouldn’t surprise me if he did. I wonder if he is sane enough to hold office?

Claims still being made of a molotov cocktail being thrown with no credible evidence is disgusting especially when they have made a concerted effort to mute the press.

Once again I am glad I supported Jay! He’s done much good in MO. If only the Neo cons would knock off their constant harassment of him, he could do so much more good.

What a superb suggestion at how to stop the violence in Ferguson. I would also suggest that Ron Johnson be allowed to continue his efforts in Ferguson on an ongoing basis, as it is foolish to think that he will be able to resolve the racial tensions with only a few days of intervention.

This could also serve as a model for other cities/counties that are having problems with racial tensions. It might be a good idea to have a black leader and a white leader from the area co-spearhead such an effort. Buy in from the local government and law enforcement would be absolutely essential and would need to actively participate in such an effort.
