Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee won reelection to her seat with 75% of the vote.
Marching into her district and insulting three quarters of the electorate is not a winning strategy when trying to reach out to community that is already suspicious. .
To claim that Rep. Lee supports slavery means one of two things. Either the people who voted for her are too stupid to know that. Or, the people who voted for her are too self-centered to care. Either way, I sincerely doubt that Open Carry is going to change many minds about guns or Rep. Lee by insulting the choice made by the overwhelming majority of voters in this district. .

You need to understand Jim Crow and more importantly, the New Jim Crow. Then you may understand how many black people in Drug War Zones like Houston’s 5th Ward or Ferguson, MO, might not be so quick to dismiss the Open Carry Texas message. For example:

& even Mom & Pop chicken shacks, I see
ALL kinds of People who like Fried Chicken TOO!

Somebody coined the term “blasterbater” which I think says it all when accompanyed by “ammosexual”.
“Ammosexual Blasterbators” sounds like a discription of these asshats.

“Ammosexual blasterbaters” indeed. For a lot of these guys, their firearms are a as much a symbol of their “manhood” as their penises — for some, even a REPLACEMENT for their penises.
It’s no accident that Open Carry Texas is not only almost all-white, but just about all-male as well. To date, I haven’t seen any photos or videos of female OCT members brandishing their — AHEM — “hot rods.” Have YOU?
