Florida Congressman Ted Yoho knows that if President Obama is impeached it’s his own fault, and he really really doesn’t want such a terrible thing to happen.

[su_center_ad]

“The last thing is impeachment of a president,” Yoho said in a recent radio interview with the Tea Party Express, also citing a lawsuit, censure, and withholding funding as ways to hold President Obama accountable. “We, and myself, and the American people for the most part they don’t want to impeach the president. They don’t want to have to sue him and waste the time and effort. All we’re asking is faithfully execute the laws of this land that you are elected to do.”

Yoho said if impeachment proceedings do come up, it will be because Obama didn’t “enforce the laws” on the books.

“So if an impeachment comes up, it’s not because Congress wants to do that,” Yoho said. “It’s because the president has chosen to bring that upon himself by not enforcing the laws on the books. If he doesn’t like a law he needs to get that changed, not wave his pen and use his phone and he has arrogantly stated over and over again.”

So, you see? The nice Republican Congress doesn’t want to impeach our black president, so if it happens there is only one person to blame, and his middle name is Hussein![su_sky_ad]

    STOP IMPEACHING YOURSELF OBUMMER!

  2. MIAtheistGal August 18th, 2014 at 3:43 pm

Do these types ever listen to what they say? Do they sound as stupid to themselves as they do to us?

    • edmeyer_able August 18th, 2014 at 3:46 pm

With the drums pounding in their heads it’s a wonder they can hear anything.

In chess terms this may be seen as The Yoho Opening Gambit. Wile E. Coyote is shaking his head at the stupidity.

      CHECK!

  4. Maxx44 August 18th, 2014 at 4:21 pm

In secret places all over this country, people who want to represent the GOP in any elected office are given an IQ test. If the potential politico’s score is greater than 50, he/she is immediately disqualified.

don’t know about that, but driving recklessly and endangering life while wantonly speeding in a Tundra IS a Constitutional Disqualification, no matter how drunk you may have been at the time. Also, convicted Felons give up the Constitutional Requirement of being a viable POTUS. (that’s two teabagger twits less).

is that in kms or mph?

  5. Bunya August 18th, 2014 at 5:02 pm

Hey! It could happen, especially when he least expects it. Who among us hasn’t stood in front of a urinal, taking a whizz, – when BAM! You’ve accidentally impeached yourself!
Boy, I hate when that happens!

    • R.J. Carter August 18th, 2014 at 5:10 pm

      I know what you mean.

    • granpa.usthai August 18th, 2014 at 5:46 pm

probably why real BDU’s have button ups instead of zippers?

  6. arc99 August 18th, 2014 at 5:07 pm

No matter how lucky, the GOP gets in November, they will not have 67 seats in the Senate, so conviction on any articles of impeachment is about as likely as porcine flight.

What we have here an intellectually bankrupt Republican party constantly making remarks about impeachment out of one side of their mouths, while dismissing impeachment as a Democratic fund raising talking point out of the other.

    • granpa.usthai August 18th, 2014 at 6:07 pm

Luck has very little to do with Congressional misrepresentation of the American Populace, arc. – a rigged political system that refers to ARMED WHITE RACIST as ‘militias’ (you’d think the media would at least refer to them as UNREGULATED) is apt to attempt to force and /or SELECT whatever they want.

Another tea-chugging knucklehead who seems to believe that presidential election outcomes only really count when HIS choice for POTUS is voted into office.

    Sorry pal, elections matter.
If you don’t like the impact of a having a Democrat in the a White House, then convince your party to nominate a more viable candidate for 2026.

    • granpa.usthai August 18th, 2014 at 6:02 pm

      WTF?
you being a bit pushy on changing the Party in the White House!
      What?
Republicans planning on a mass exodus in Europe when Russia invades with Chinese Forces?

    • jasperjava August 18th, 2014 at 6:06 pm

There won’t be a presidential election in 2026. Maybe you meant 2024, at the end of Clinton’s second term?

  8. Tommy6860 August 18th, 2014 at 5:20 pm

He makes it seem as if impeachment will happen naturally, just like they claim man made laws are natural.

  9. Shades August 18th, 2014 at 5:23 pm

Once my mother told me not to jump my bike over the creek or I’d get hurt. I still did it and, sure enough, I finally hurt myself. Is it like that?

  10. Obewon August 18th, 2014 at 5:25 pm

The Tea Party Express Impeachment threats are another donor goldmine for Dems ensuring greater voter turnout on November 4th!

  11. granpa.usthai August 18th, 2014 at 5:38 pm

If you want American people to take your threats of impeachment seriously, you need to wear an American Flag lapel pin. One made in the USA like the POTUS wears, not one of the hokey cheap made Chinese ones like Republicans use. The you’ll look more like an American and less like a foreign WHITE RACIST.

    • burqa August 18th, 2014 at 8:37 pm

Yeah, no telling what country that thing Yoho has on represents. Probably Duncistan. I’m not going to bother with crap from someone with such divided loyalties.

  12. jasperjava August 18th, 2014 at 6:17 pm

    Ted Yoho? You misspelled “Yahoo”.

I wonder if the few intelligent Republicans who remain are embarrassed by the vast majority of their party, which Jindal aptly named “the party of stupid”?

  13. Suzanne McFly August 18th, 2014 at 6:48 pm

Man, his thought process is so damn twisted, I have a headache trying to understand this type of “reasoning”.

  14. majii August 18th, 2014 at 6:52 pm

Ask Yoho and he’ll say that this is more proof that no GOPTPer is talking about impeaching President Obama.

  15. Hirightnow August 18th, 2014 at 7:04 pm

On behalf of the Great State of Florida, “First in alligators”, I would like to apologize for this yahoo Mr. Yoho.

    • Dwendt44 August 18th, 2014 at 11:42 pm

      Yahoo is correct.

  16. searambler August 18th, 2014 at 8:47 pm

The pretzel-logic needed to come up with that bullspit is worthy of Mr. Salty.

  17. m2old4bs August 19th, 2014 at 11:22 am

Oh boy. Another shameless Republican politician who thinks the American citizen is too stupid to understand exactly what he is saying. Pffft.
