For the past eight days, America has watched the City of Ferguson, Missouri react to the killing of 18 year-old Mike Brown by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, but on Sunday, supporters of officer Wilson gathered to raise their voices, and make some bank. The rally of about 150 supporters was poorly attended by the media, and drew a small counter-protest, as well as “hands up, don’t shoot” signals from some passing motorists, honks of approval from others:

In addition to holding a rally in downtown St. Louis, supporters of Darren Wilson hawked t-shirts that, according to St. Louis Post-Dispatch reporter Nicholas J.C. Pistor, were quite the hot ticket:

Proceeds from the sale of the shirts will, according to the group selling them, “go directly to Officer Darren Wilson with the Ferguson Police Department and his family.” If you think it’s more than a little bit sick for people to be profiteering off of the death of an unarmed teenager, especially the person who shot him, then the design of the shirts themselves won’t make you feel any better. The navy-blue shirts feature a white badge on the front that says “Officer Darren Wilson – I Stand By You,” and below that, the date “8.9.14,” which was the day that Darren Wilson shot and killed Mike Brown.

In a particularly jarring coincidence, given the just-made revelation that Mike Brown was shot six times, the back of the shirt reads “We’ve Got Your 6.”

According to the group, you can also order Darren Wilson hoodies.

The group has also raised more than $5000.00 via a GoFundMe page, funds which are also slated to be turned over directly to Officer Wilson. This, apparently, is how white people loot.

Meanwhile, back in Ferguson, another night of violence prompted Governor Jay Nixon to announce that he will deploy the Missouri National Guard to Ferguson. As has been the case throughout the unrest in Ferguson, the under-reported fact about the looting and violence is that it is largely the work of non-residents:

“Tonight, a day of hope, prayers and peaceful protests was marred by the violent criminal acts of an organized and growing number of individuals, many from outside the community and state, whose actions are putting the residents and businesses of Ferguson at risk,” Mr. (Governor Jay) Nixon said.

Early Monday morning, Captain Ron Johnson explained the police response to stepped-up violence:

President Obama, who commented extensively about the situation in Ferguson last week, is set to meet with Attorney General Eric Holder this afternoon for an update on the situation. That meeting, scheduled for 1:15 pm at the White House, will be closed to the press, although there will be a photo-only pool spray at the top of the meeting. The President is in Washington, DC until Tuesday, when he will return to Martha’s Vineyard to contiue his family vacation.

Obviously, no one is going to be happy about the use of National Guard troops in Ferguson, but it does point up something that’s being distorted by the media, especially liberals, regarding the problems in Ferguson…READ MORE

George Zimmerman also profited from murdering an unarmed Black teenager.

Raising money to encourage the killing of black kids is incentive for white supremacist criminals to go human-hunting.

      And to become artists too..

  2. Pistol-Packing August 18th, 2014 at 12:22 pm

Ummm Christopher. Do you know what the expression “We got your 6” actually means?

    • R.J. Carter August 18th, 2014 at 12:34 pm

He’s too focused on the color of the badge on the tshirt.

    • Anomaly 100 August 18th, 2014 at 12:40 pm

Tommy writes, “In a particularly jarring coincidence….”

See the word ‘coincidence’ in that sentence?

      • Pistol-Packing August 18th, 2014 at 12:48 pm

went back and read it again. see it now.

      • raincheck August 18th, 2014 at 6:52 pm

        It’s a shame that “We got your 6” was hi-jacked liked that…..
(the six o’clock position designates the back of a military formation)

Military jargon for.. We got your back you have ours…

        • Pistol-Packing August 18th, 2014 at 6:59 pm

Also signifying, I got your back. But how has it been Hi-jacked?

          • raincheck August 19th, 2014 at 8:39 pm

“Also signifying, I got your back”… tomato, tomoto… “But how has it been Hi-jacked?” IMO it’s too controversial to support the Officer who shot an unarmed teen.. it may very well turn out he murdered the young man without probable cause.. it’s at the very least premature… I guess we won’t know until the Police, release more information (which they are VERY reluctant to do… being so reluctant in the face of Public demands to release the info only inspires dis-trust)

        • ChrisVosburg August 19th, 2014 at 8:23 pm

I knew that it was milspeak (used at first by fighter pilots, I think with 12 o’clock being directly ahead and 6 o’clock meaning behind you), but I hadn’t heard it used in copspeak until now.

Hm, wonder if this is yet another indication of the increasing militarization of police forces.

In any case, the victimization shirt is a shitty idea.

          • raincheck August 19th, 2014 at 8:42 pm

            A “shitty” idea indeed….

          • bhil August 19th, 2014 at 9:58 pm

A least he might get a trial unlike Mike Brown.

?? What ?? Please be more specific

  3. tiredoftea August 18th, 2014 at 1:35 pm

Should Officer Wilson actually get any of the money, let’s hope it’s used for his defense in his murder trial.

    • Jerry Ericsson August 18th, 2014 at 2:07 pm

As far as I am concerned he can take my 20 bucks and buy more ammo, or perhaps take his good wife out to dinner, well it will cover the tip anyhow.

      • tiredoftea August 18th, 2014 at 2:52 pm

        You are despicable.

      • raincheck August 18th, 2014 at 5:57 pm

You might want to wait and send it to him in Prison… so he can buy himself some extra items to keep in his cell… which might be located next to one of your family members.. Hey, you never know, maybe you can become pen-pals..

  4. Jerry Ericsson August 18th, 2014 at 2:05 pm

Just ordered mine, got the long sleeve XL. As I said when I purchased it, I shall carry my .45 when I wear the shirt, and I intend to wear the shirt till it is threadbare and worn out.

    • tiredoftea August 18th, 2014 at 2:52 pm

You are why incidents like the murder of young Mr. Brown happen.

    • raincheck August 18th, 2014 at 5:58 pm

“till it is threadbare and worn out.”… Like you

    • raincheck August 18th, 2014 at 6:22 pm

OH, I remember you… your that freak that likes to pretend, he used to be a cop hahahahaha right! I read some of your posts… you hardly know how to spell. Your ignorant, and vile… you only WISH you could have been a Cop, but instead you turned out to be a looser. So far you have only lived a miserable life, with I’m sure some looser kids to go with it… anyone raised by you doesn’t stand a chance in life for any kind of success. You have a unusually strong, UN-healthy “fondness” for guns. You strike me as the kind of guy, that would show up at the E.R. trying to explain just exactly HOW you got that rifle barrel stuck so far up your ass…. ALL of your posts WREAK of loser. When it is your time to “go”.. you will go out with a whimper….

      • raincheck August 18th, 2014 at 7:59 pm

not one of my better moments

      • Jerry Ericsson August 21st, 2014 at 9:23 am

Well you can accuse me of many things, however I did indeed spend 20+ years as a police officer, I was the Chief of Police in two ND Police Departments, Assistant Chief in another. I served proudly until an accident put me on the disabled list. My spelling errors are the result of the drugs that I must take to simply be able to sit without extreme pain. I have been published in several magazines, and have had one of my short fictions featured in an anthology published in 2006 before the drugs took their toll. I don’t usually put my whole life history out there for a bunch of libratards, but since you accuse then there it is. I guess I can’t very well prove to you anything since you are quick to accuse without all the facts, much like those in Ferguson Mo. Typical liberal nut-case. I also served 8 years in the United States Army, 1 year in nam, three years with The Old Guard out in the DC area, serving as a cermonial soldier with the same Unit that guards the Unknowns at Arlington, I never tried out for that as I wouldn’t have the patients with those who would dishonor the tomb. Later I served as a Recruiter for the Army until I took a discharge so my children could attend a good school in the Dakota’s instead of going through the hell that was the schools out in Arlington Va. where I lived.

Want more, I could send you my resume but then I am not applying a job from you, so as far as I am concerned, you can go straight to hell.

        • raincheck August 21st, 2014 at 9:53 am

“I served proudly until an accident put me on the disabled list” Tell me…did you serve and protect “Libratards” too? Or are we all criminals or worthy of name calling in your eyes?…I’m not the least bit interested in your resume, you just wasted a lot of your time… If you were more understanding of people that might think differently than yourself combined with all of your achievements you list Now THAT would be impressive… But what do I know… I’m just another “typical Liberal nut-case” FYI I also served my Country in the Military (Army)

          • Jerry Ericsson August 21st, 2014 at 10:10 am

You know I served and protected both, as libratards only show their idiocy on fourms like this, you can feel free to edit my texts once you too have been published.

          • raincheck August 22nd, 2014 at 2:40 pm

Why would I bother to “edit” your texts?

  5. @IUNewsTalk August 21st, 2014 at 5:37 pm

Let’s be FAIR. @The Dream Defenders are doing the SAME THING. Profiting of the #DEATH of #MIKEBROWN and this is a so-called Liberal Group.

Maybe all of these “Groups” “Individuals” and “Journalists” need to take themselves HOME and let the People of Ferguson and the surrounding community handle this.

So far, the Death of Mike Brown has become an opportunity for:

    -Networking in Ferguson

    -Selling Cheap T-Shirts

-Journalists looking for Five Minutes of Attention

-Bloggers looking for Five Minutes of Attention

-Rappers who have not had a hit in #YEARS, looking for Five Minutes of Attention

    -Politicians saying stupid things

-Politicians doing stupid things like the African-American Ferguson Township Politician that went on Fox News Hannity Show and somehow expected a fair interview? Really Now?

-To discuss the problems with failed policing procedures and models… we did not KNOW THIS already.

    -Someone’s five minutes of fame

-An opportunity for the Racists to come out of the shadows, ASAP!

And everything else EXCEPT the death of Michael Brown. Brown has not even been buried in the ground yet. How disgusting of a society are we? Too disgusting!
