A couple of white people decided to protest in support of Darren Wilson—the police officer who fatally shot an unarmed black teenager in Ferguson, Mo. last week—and who would have thunk it — they were not welcomed with open arms among those protesting in Ferguson.

They’re not sure who they’re upset with considering the lady protesting can’t spell the Governor’s name correctly. “Nixon” is a memorable name, at least to most of us.

[su_center_ad]

She didn’t get a good reaction from the crowd.

  Stating the obvious.

Of course, this happened.

Then the couple magically disappeared.

That was just adorable. [su_sky_ad]

you gotta give’em credit for having big, fat silver balls…seriously… 🙂

Nahhhh…they’re white. They’re accustomed to being protected. They wouldn’t have had those big balls if there weren’t all those white officers near by.

They must be part of the “outside agitators” inciting the violence and looting.

  3. R.J. Carter August 21st, 2014 at 12:36 pm

Where was Captain Johnson, to remind us all again about how this is about people exercising their first amendment rights of protest?

    • Tammy Minton Haley August 21st, 2014 at 12:42 pm

this is when this “democracy” stuff is all hard…when other people get to be stupid, and we have to let them…

    • NW10 August 21st, 2014 at 12:46 pm

Remind me when the two pro Wilson protesters had their rights infringed. Were they told by police that they were unlawfully assembled and then tear gassed? Were they told by police to keep moving or face arrest?

      • R.J. Carter August 21st, 2014 at 1:00 pm

They had to be protected from potentially angry infringement. Which may or may not be fair.

While I agree with the sentiment of the sign (Nixon pushing for prosecution before there are even charges filed? Really, sir?), they’re — let’s call it “lack of discernment” puts them on a par with that scene from “Kentucky Fried Movie” starring “Rex Kramer: Danger Seeker.”

        • Yenta August 21st, 2014 at 1:04 pm

“They had to be protected from potentially angry infringement.” It’s interesting that they were as quick to protect the Wilson supporters as they were to abuse the Brown supporters (and media).

          • R.J. Carter August 21st, 2014 at 1:06 pm

Hence my comment about fairness. If they’d thrown a bottle of urine at someone, it would be interesting to see if they would have been teargassed.

It also would have been interesting to see how they ‘d have been treated if they chose to come a few days earlier, rather than in this more calm phase.

          • NW10 August 21st, 2014 at 1:08 pm

If they’d thrown a bottle of urine at someone

It’s telling how quickly you’ve fallen for the narratives from police officers, even though no media or journalists there have taken any pictures of molotovs or any things supposedly thrown at police. Heck, Breitbart is so desperate, they ran with a photo of a protester throwing tear gas away as a supposed photo of a protester throwing a molotov.

          • Yenta August 21st, 2014 at 1:14 pm

Is there any doubt why they wanted to shut down the photographers at every opportunity?

          • R.J. Carter August 21st, 2014 at 1:36 pm

So you don’t believe any of those things were thrown?

Yep, just as I thought. Obviously photoshopped.

          • Yenta August 21st, 2014 at 2:10 pm

            Point taken.

I’m sure they are completely convinced that Brown “attacked” Wilson and was 100% justified in killing Brown. I doubt they have ever been told to “get the f*ck on the sidewalk”, or experienced any type of abuse from cops. I bet they’ve never been pulled over and had their car searched. I bet they’ve never grown up in a neighborhood as poor as Ferguson. I bet they have something better than a minimum wage job. And I bet they grabbed on to the police chief saying that Wilson was looking for a robbery suspect when he encountered Brown and Johnson. And I bet they never thought to question why the chief would say that statement wasn’t true the same day. Because that’s just how prejudice works.

        • NW10 August 21st, 2014 at 1:04 pm

I don’t recall the Brown protesters being offered the same protection from the angry infringement of police officers.

They have the right. We should also point out where they are wrong and “hope” that increased understanding prevails.

        • Pistol-Packing August 21st, 2014 at 12:58 pm

How were they wrong in demonstrating for what they believe in?

          • R.J. Carter August 21st, 2014 at 1:01 pm

They weren’t wrong. But they were, perhaps, not very self-preserving.

Not to get too personal, but a white man standing in the middle of Harlem wearing a sign that says “I hate niggers” has either got some serious personal issues, or not all his dogs are barking.”

            Also, “kewpie.”

          • Pistol-Packing August 21st, 2014 at 1:13 pm

Ohhh get over it. that fight is long over and it is agreed upon on both sides that is Bullshit. And I did not complain. I said they had the exact same right as every other protestor on that street. Maybe it is time for some reading comprehension classes…

          • mea_mark August 21st, 2014 at 1:41 pm

I didn’t say they were wrong in demonstrating what they believe. I think their beliefs should be questioned though if they are going to demonstrate around people who believe conversely to them. If they don’t want to be questioned they should demonstrate somewhere else.

        • Yenta August 21st, 2014 at 1:01 pm

Of course they have the right to speak, but they got right in the face of the people who were supporting Mike Brown. Couldn’t they have stood in a different area? Does a Democrat go to a Republican rally and try to hijack it?

          • R.J. Carter August 21st, 2014 at 1:04 pm

            Not since 1972.

          • R.J. Carter August 21st, 2014 at 1:43 pm

Yep. But then, I was only 5 years old when the conspirators were indicted on conspiring to disrupt the Republican convention. I kept getting disappointed by the news because they never showed me the gate that was keeping back all that water. I wanted to see it.

i don’t understand how we, as Americans, can process this incident so differently…?

    • NW10 August 21st, 2014 at 12:49 pm

It’s no different than a couple of hecklers showing up at an Obama town hall, trying to instigate and inflame.

    • Yenta August 21st, 2014 at 1:36 pm

See my comment to Suzanne, above. White people who have always lived and worked with other white people don’t ‘get’ racism. Some people really believe it doesn’t exist anymore because they don’t “see” it. They don’t see the subtle ways that a store clerk might disrespect a minority, even if it’s right in front of them. They don’t understand why so many Black people live in poverty, because they never TRIED to understand. And then you have Fox News and far right politicians with all their nasty comments, suggesting that Black people are just lazy. If “they” are “all” saying it on the teevee, then it must be true, right? *sigh*

      • Tammy Minton Haley August 24th, 2014 at 1:41 pm

…if only economically-oppressed white people would understand they are in the very same boat as the black community is–i got lots of stories about being treated shabbily when using MedicAid VS. Blue Cross…

i’d like to incorporate the poverty element into this as well–MLK was certainly going in that direction…even poor whites can’t see how systemic, how deep this stuff goes…this is in-bred, generational prejudicial bigotry…it has to die…

  6. Pistol-Packing August 21st, 2014 at 1:00 pm

They have the exact same right as every other protestor on that street to express themselves. Whether you agree or disagree with them.

    • Suzanne McFly August 21st, 2014 at 1:12 pm

Just because you can doesn’t mean you should. What were they hoping to accomplish is my question and any answer I can think of does not bode well for their actions. They are simply inciting a group that is trying to draw attention to pain they are feeling and these morons come in and rip the band aid off, no common sense involved. And the female was in such a rush to get her face out on the street and in front of the camera, she didn’t even realize the Governor is Nixon not Nikon…that is a friggin’ camera.

      • Yenta August 21st, 2014 at 1:26 pm

Good comment. They obviously don’t understand that this protesting is not JUST about Mike Brown. Mike Brown was just the straw that broke the camel’s back. They are clueless that the community in Ferguson has a very long history of being abused and targeted by the police. It might be hard to notice if you live in a mostly white community, and you think “those people” should know their “place”.

        • ChrisVosburg August 21st, 2014 at 7:25 pm

Right on, Yenta. It may help to remember that the riots following the Rodney King verdict weren’t just about Rodney; they were about an out of control LAPD.

We all knew about it, but couldn’t do much about it, because a cop’s word carried a lot more weight than that of any number of witnesses (still true today, by the way), but this was different: the advent of relatively inexpensive hand-held consumer video cameras had made it possible for George Holliday to record the beating that night.

I remember so well the moment I first saw the video on the evening news, and I nearly teared up, it was that hard to watch. And I remember exactly what I said, out loud to the TV back then:

We finally caught you, you fucking bastards.

          • trees August 21st, 2014 at 10:21 pm

“We finally caught you, you fucking bastards.”

Mmmmhmmm…..nice to see your objectivity and respect for the rule of law as it pertains to someone who is presumed innocent until proven guilty and absent the facts of the matter.

You have a definite bias. Now, maybe you have experienced things that have caused you to mistrust authority, but you cannot use your personal experience, absent of any factual evidence, and prejudge what happened in Ferguson. We need to follow the rule of law, otherwise, we descend into lawlessness….

          • trees August 21st, 2014 at 10:48 pm

“We finally caught you, you fucking bastards.”

My brother, who passed from this earth on May 20, 2013, was a two strikes felon. Me, I’ve never been arrested, doesn’t mean I’m pure, simply means I’ve managed to avoid making stupid mistakes. That said, I was sleeping at my dads house when the sheriffs came visiting on a parole search, looking for my brother. My brother wasn’t there, and I’m sure as hell not him, but that didn’t matter, the cops were here and looking for their person of interest, the brother of the parolee was someone they wanted to infer a false equivalency into. I was instructed, in my father’s house, that I would have to participate with them in a conversation that I had no desire participating in, and that I was indeed a suspect in my brothers whereabouts. I’ll never forget these guys, it was elderly officer “Mr. Nice Guy”, younger white cop, “Mr. Observant and looking around and poking through my stuff”, and “Mr. Big Bad African American Cop taunting me and hoping I’d lose it so that he’s have a reason to beat me senseless”…..There I am, sitting on the couch and watching my father sobbing uncontrollably….. You think I was pissed? If that kind of dog and pony show doesn’t piss a person off nothing will….This little get together of ours lasted for about two hours. When it was over Mr. Nice Guy said, “we’re sorry we had to do this, we have to find out the whereabouts of your brother”…. Oh, and they kept my driver license, I had to make a special trip down to the station to retrieve it, and guess what?? The officer on duty dropped it onto the counter and acted like I was some major pain in the ass for wasting his time in making him get it for me, yeah, imagine that…..So, I know a little bout cops myself. If they think you’re a criminal they will treat you like vermin.

Do I think Officer Wilson murdered Michael Brown?

            I really have no idea.

Could I make a decision on whether I thought he killed that kid simply because he could and was a major, (expletive), that did it out of hatred, or indifference, or incompetence?

            Yep, sure could

But my decision as to his guilt or innocence would be based upon evidence presented at a trial. You know, that thing where every shred of evidence is brought into the courtroom and presented, where every relevant witness testified and was cross examined. Where I would be making an informed decision based on actual facts.

            Why?

Cause I hope the same consideration would be afforded to me, should that situation ever arise.

    Jesse and Al’s rent-a-riot!

  12. trees August 21st, 2014 at 3:15 pm

    What’s interesting, is the contrast.

White people in affluent neighborhoods really have no problem with cops patrolling their neighborhoods.

    Hmmm…why is that?

Black people in the ghetto are really not friendly to cops patrolling their neighborhood.

    Hmmm.

I knew a kid, and he was just a kid really, although his legal age was 18, anyway I knew a kid in the Bronx, back in the 80’s….he illegally carried a .380. I was surprised when I found out he carried it, not scared, but surprised. I liked Mike, he was this Jamaican kid with this big infectious smile, his smile was so big and genuine that you couldn’t help but smile yourself when you saw his…

“Mike, do you know what happens if the cops find this gun on you?”

Mike, all smiles and saying, “you don’t understand, where I live you need this”

Now, cops are realists. They are intimately familiar with the neighborhoods they patrol. They have an expectation, and this, while maybe not entirely fair, is entirely human. Their expectation is built upon their experiences.

White people tend to trust the cops patrolling in their neighborhoods, the people in this neighborhood have an aversion to the police when they are driving home from the bar and may be legally intoxicated, or when they’ve got some weed on them or something, but the majority of people are relatively law abiding and the attitude towards the police reflects this. What you don’t see is an open hostility directed at the police, what you don’t see is contempt for the cops.

Now, this OP brings light to a very real perception, and that is……

White people aren’t very safe in black neighborhoods.

That’s an interesting point to ponder.

    • DaddyO_969 August 21st, 2014 at 3:40 pm

And blacks are safe in white neighborhoods?

    • Dwendt44 August 21st, 2014 at 4:23 pm

Driving while black is not a baseless claim, sparky. If the police arrested white youths for standing on the corner as much as they did black kids, they wouldn’t want the cops in their neighborhoods either.

If the cops arrested whites for drugs or put them in jail as often as they did blacks, the whites would be as upset as the black are now.

Open those blindfolded eyes, you can’t see the forest for the trees it seems.

      • trees August 21st, 2014 at 5:28 pm

Do you really think cops just pull over everybody they see who also happens to be black?? C’mon, don’t be a dummy. Part of profiling is knowing who, not just what, you’re looking for….

        Oh, you want an example?

Ok, let’s say I’m out to buy some drugs. Would I go just anywhere and expect to find myself a dealer? Would I approach just anyone and ask them, “hey bro, can ya help a brother out?”

No, that would be silly. Right?

People who engage in certain activities, “advertise”, whether they’re acutely aware of it, or not.

What am I doing cruising through the projects with my white complected self??

If I was in my personal conveyance, then you would be right that I don’t belong there….must be some reason I’m there, doncha think?

Cops stop white kids all the time, if these white kids are cruising through black neighborhoods….

The only effective “cover” that I found, and yes, I did use drugs….among other things, but I digress….the only effective cover was my taxicab….and dude, it was flawless. I was never stopped for being in the hood while white, matter of fact, about the only thing I could get into trouble for was in refusing to pick up a fare…lol….

You’re so out of touch, you poor dear.

    • ChrisVosburg August 21st, 2014 at 6:03 pm

Lemme copsplain, Trees: Daryl Gates’ LAPD didn’t conduct Operation Hammer, in which thousands of blacks and latinos were arrested for stuff like loitering and looking vaguely gangbangerish in Beverly Hills.

And if you’re about to say, well, they must have been doing something wrong, then permit me to point out that the vast majority of those arrested under these “sweeps” were not charged with a crime. Just hassled.

In fact, back in that era, I, a brown-haired, brown eyed swarthy white guy with a bandido mustache and those frameless glasses with lenses tinted top-to-bottom was apparently considered latino looking enough to get a taste of the action, as I was waiting for a bus one night in Koreatown.

Couple cops pull up and ask me what’re you doing here, and I look at them, then at the Bus Stop sign, and then back at them, and ask: fuck’s it look like I’m doing? which wasn’t very smart, and resulted in my getting to kiss the sidewalk.

    • greenfloyd August 22nd, 2014 at 12:34 am

That’s an interesting point to ponder.

It certainly is. A cultural hangover of segregation? Growing up I remember three distinct areas; the rich side of town, the working class/poor white side of town where I lived and what was commonly called “Darkie Town,” literally on the other side of the railroad tracks, where all the black people lived. Up until the late 1960s it was illegal for black people to buy or even rent outside their ghetto. While we’ve come a long way since then, this “racial divide” is still with us today as can be clearly seen in Ferguson and St. Louis itself.
One thing that has not changed and has gotten much worse in places like Ferguson is both intra-racial crime and violence along with an aggressive style of para-military policing that often treats the population as an enemy or, along the Mississippi, as truculent children requiring constant disciplining.
As for cops they are in an impossible position, even if there were no racial divide, when ordered by civil authority to operate in this manner and enforce laws that do more harm than good.
The fact of the matter is black neighborhoods like Ferguson are not safe for anyone, especially those who live there!

    • Chinese Democracy August 22nd, 2014 at 1:06 am

White people in affluent neighborhoods really have no problem with cops patrolling their neighborhoods.

      Hmmm…why is that?

cuz white people in affluent neighborhoods dont get shot in the face for just standing there with their hands up? Just a guess

  13. trees August 21st, 2014 at 3:19 pm

I will say this, the makeup of the police in the Ferguson neighborhood is more than just a little troubling to me. A majority white police department in a majority black neighborhood is a problem.

    • ChrisVosburg August 21st, 2014 at 5:38 pm

Yes, as you can see from this group photo of the Ferguson PD’s baseball team, black faces are few and far between. Oh wait, that’s the 1949 Brooklyn Dodgers (Jackie Robinson, top row second from left).

      • trees August 21st, 2014 at 5:53 pm

        2014-1949=?

Let’s all put our thinking caps on and figure this out, ok?

        65

65 years ago, please, try to be relatively current. Or are you actually trying to make the case that nothing has changed since then?

        • ChrisVosburg August 21st, 2014 at 6:12 pm

Sorry I forget that you’re new. Yes, I’m making the point, humorously, that the racial makeup of the Ferguson PD resembles that of Major League Baseball in 1949 (the year Jackie was signed). Probably the racial sensitivities as well.

Major League Baseball has made some small degree of progress since then. Ferguson, not so much.

    • madashellnow August 21st, 2014 at 7:48 pm

Why is it a problem? The police are there to uphold the law, regardless of race.
Why is it when a non-white kills a white person there is no looting, no riots, no demonstration, no Jackson, no Sharpton? To prejudge this case, before all the facts are know, is insane. There is NO excuse for the activities in Ferguson…no excuse.

      • Carla Akins August 21st, 2014 at 8:00 pm

That would be fabulous if all law enforcement followed that premise. It is not difficult to see very clear cut examples of police targeting people of color – and specifically young black men.
The protesting in Ferguson is a community fed up with abuse, disrespect and living in a total state of fear from those entrusted to protect them. People are not driven to act unless they’re forced. It doesn’t occur in a vacuum.
No one here thinks the looting and rioting is a good thing, and you may have noted out of more than 160 arrests, only 7 were from Ferguson. Opportunists come in all shapes, sizes and colors, they will always seek out any advantage to wreak havoc.

      • raincheck August 21st, 2014 at 8:21 pm

“The police are there to uphold the law”… You mean like the “I’ll fucking kill you” Cop? Or the one who shot Mr Brown 6 times? The ones who rolled out on to the scene with heavy armor and guns pointed at (peaceful, at the time) Protesters, the Chief of Police doing his best to keep information from the Public… except for things that don’t matter (marijuana in Mr. Browns system) etc…… You mean those Cops?

        • BanditBasheert August 21st, 2014 at 11:17 pm

I read something the other day that brought this issue home. The reactions of the police in terms of shootings and violence toward protestors is a direct reflection of the police culture in the community.
If the police are permitted to assault people and beat them – and shoot them without cause – if violence is acceptable to those in charge, the officers will be violent. They do it because they know it is ok and acceptable to do it.
          Violence always begets violence.
You saw that particularly with Sgt f*ckYou – the way he snapped. This is a poorly trained officer who sincerely believes that his behavior is acceptable to his supervisors.
          This is a dangerous man.

      • whatthe46 August 21st, 2014 at 8:56 pm

no need for a riot if a non-white kills a white person because you can bet your sweet ass that person will be arrested and prosecuted w/o question, the dead person will receive justice. get the difference. unless you are a white 16 y/o male whose parents have money, then you can kill 4 people and nearly kill 2 others and don’t even receive a minute in jail. but, hell you didn’t protest against that. why?

      • BanditBasheert August 21st, 2014 at 11:15 pm

You area seriously a dimwit aren’t you?
Or you have just developed such a terminal case of hate against black people that you have no concept of what “equal justice” means. Contrary to your belief system, black human beings ARE equal. They are not 3/5th equal .. they are entitled to justice and they aren’t getting it.

You obviously have no idea how serious an orbital fracture blow-out is. The officer is clearly seen on video walking around Brown’s body showing no evidence of injury to his face. The “family friend” making all the RWNJ hot spots is telling a second-hand account.

          • raincheck August 21st, 2014 at 8:32 pm

If he does have an orbital fracture, it happened AFTER the fact… If I thought I might be going to Prison for murder… I would definitely let someone hit me in the eye, real hard if I thought it would help get me out of some deep trouble.. There are people who have even shot themselves to get out of the draft. Nothing to base this on except, he sure didn’t act like he had a “shattered orbit” No visible bruising… This is why they need to RELEASE THE INFO!!

          • mea_mark August 21st, 2014 at 8:41 pm

That would be real easy to prove or disprove from video and would make him look even more guilty. I hope it is true, talk about a slam dunk case.

THAT I don’t believe. It was absolutely apparent that he did NOT have an orbital fracture as he walked around that body for 5 hours. It’s not like you couldn’t SEE it – his face would have blown up like a balloon and turned purple.
            And you know this.

But he didn’t – he pushed him. We all saw it. And that has NOTHING to do with execution by cop. Grand juries are fortunately not as stupid as the cons think they are.

Actually, there’s a little of both. (Edit: More than a little.)

        • BanditBasheert August 21st, 2014 at 11:03 pm

Not true – there is NO medical evidence that has been produced. There IS a picture of an orbital fracture taken off of a website. NOT Darren Wilsons.

Here’s a quote from the WP article: Ed Magee, a spokesman for St. Louis County Prosecutor Robert McCulloch,
declined to comment on the new reports about Wilson, and said
prosecutors have not received any medical records. But he said that
because Wilson was taken to the hospital, McCulloch’s office assumes
such records exist. Assumption is the mother of all f*-ups. So, far. no credible evidence, just claims.

I have seen blown out orbits – they aren’t pretty and no one walks around with one for 5 hours next to the dead body of the kid he shot. IF he had an orbital fracture, he would have immediately been transferred to a hospital for repair which involves all sorts of plates and screws. Due to bleeding issues and also potential permanent eye damage, it is considered an emergency.

The comparison is apt. Racist/rightists were attempting to use the deaths of four patriotic Americans within MINUTES of the incident. Did they do any waiting till all the facts came out? Fuck no…they started claiming that Obama watched the attack in real time, and did nothing. They claimed that he refused to send help to those being attacked, because he’s a terrorist sympathizer. They invented every kind of bullshit they could dream up in their hatefilled, feverish, racist brains and spewed it, without any compunction about the OBVIOUS lies they were telling. Now…the racist/rightists call for no judgement till all the facts are in? The hypocrisy and lies on the right are fetid and stinking.

I don’t find that odd. It is apparent that the Ferguson Police Chief couldn’t find his head in his ass.

        • Dwendt44 August 21st, 2014 at 8:43 pm

          Conservatives are allergic to facts.

        • Nicholas Russell Harris August 21st, 2014 at 9:45 pm

Give me 1 good example of ANY conservative in this day and age taking the facts and working with them.

        • BanditBasheert August 21st, 2014 at 10:57 pm

          Are you serious?
You just want a dead black man killed by a white cop – it doesn’t matter why it happened or what the truth is. For some reason this all makes you tingle.
IF there was any evidence of a hospital visit it would be front page news.
          …still waiting ….

        • Chinese Democracy August 22nd, 2014 at 12:59 am

At least conservatives are willing to look at facts, when they agree with them.

          • Progressive Republican August 22nd, 2014 at 6:45 am

Of course they’ll look at them. You can’t ignore them if you don’t know about them.

      • bobby1122 August 21st, 2014 at 6:13 pm

Professional paid liar was Brown’s accomplice- who has now decided to tell the truth- Brown charged the cop after punching him in the face and breaking his eyeball socket.

        • mea_mark August 21st, 2014 at 6:20 pm

No proof of that yet. Still just talk.

          • R.J. Carter August 21st, 2014 at 11:19 pm

            Darned HIPAA.

          • BanditBasheert August 21st, 2014 at 11:23 pm

IF the cop had a fractured orbit, it would be EVERYWHERE with xrays and photographs. You know it, you just won’t admit it. Even though it doesn’t justify the kill shots.
If he was shot after the threat was over, and he was shot at while running away, the kill shots were not justifiable. In a court of law – every single shot must have a justification. That would be a LEGAL justification – “walking while black” isn’t going to cut it.
He’ll get off – we all know that. He is a violent cop working in a violent department. The victim was black and unarmed.

        • RioBravoHombre August 21st, 2014 at 6:39 pm

Nope. You’re just repeating lies, told to you by professional, paid liars at Fox News and Hatriot Radio. Try again, liar.

        • whatthe46 August 21st, 2014 at 7:36 pm

yet he managed to hit his target 6 times with one good eye while in, what has to be a VERY PAINFUL “injury” to the other eye with a broken eye socket. i wear contact lenses and when i have an eyelash on my contact i’m blinking like stupid and am so irritated i run to the bathroom to take it out. so the broken eye socket is bull and you know it!!!!

          • BanditBasheert August 21st, 2014 at 10:55 pm

Thank you – this broken orbit BS is getting tiresome.

          • BanditBasheert August 21st, 2014 at 11:30 pm

            He’s like Officer Superman!

        • Nicholas Russell Harris August 21st, 2014 at 9:44 pm

          What a load of crap

        • BanditBasheert August 21st, 2014 at 10:55 pm

No he didn’t. There is NO fractured orbit. If there was, this guys FACE would be on the front page of every Con paper in the country.
Why did you call Brown’s friend an accomplice? An accomplice to WHAT?
          Who paid Dorian???
          Your comment is absolutely stupid.

        • whatthe46 August 22nd, 2014 at 1:13 am

how do you charge someone with 4 bullets to the arm while going down and two shots to the head. the only fractured obrit (eye) was brown’s when the bullet when in and exited. got it?

        • Progressive Republican August 22nd, 2014 at 6:43 am

          That was debunked days ago.

          Catch up.

    • Grimmy Sung Gi Lee August 21st, 2014 at 6:54 pm

If Wilson is injured then let’s see! How can a person of interest in a disputed shooting be allowed to flee and remain in hiding?

      • madashellnow August 21st, 2014 at 7:54 pm

Maybe he’s in hiding because he has received death threats? The two folks supporting the officer were not allowed to remain at the demonstration. What’s up with that? Free speech only if you agree with the crowd? I don’t know if the officer is guilty or not but the facts are trending in his favor. Originally it looked like he was guilty as sin. Still say everyone should sit back and wait for the legal system to play out.

        • Carla Akins August 21st, 2014 at 8:02 pm

That worked out so well for Rodney King.

          • olford August 22nd, 2014 at 4:03 pm

Like most of these cases sin is involved at least one side, some times both. Please give others the same fair fact finding you yourself would want if you were in their situation.

        • raincheck August 21st, 2014 at 8:06 pm

Were they engaged in free speech? Or were they inciting? I suppose if that Baptist group showed up to protest, you would consider THAT free speech as well…

          • BanditBasheert August 21st, 2014 at 10:53 pm

From what I saw, they were looking for attention and trouble – bad spelling and all. They were not harmed. They were just terminally stupid.

        • BanditBasheert August 21st, 2014 at 10:51 pm

that is simply because the officer shooting doesn’t matter to you, nor are you interested in seeing equal justice for black teens as those the white teens get.
The cop killed an unarmed teen. How can you say “I don’t know if he is guilty or not”. It isn’t whether he is guilty, it is what he is guilty of.

      • raincheck August 21st, 2014 at 8:10 pm

madeasmellnow has all of the answers….

        • BanditBasheert August 21st, 2014 at 10:50 pm

          Not actually.

          • raincheck August 22nd, 2014 at 8:08 am

            made-a-smell-now’s answers STINK!

      • BanditBasheert August 21st, 2014 at 10:49 pm

        He has White Cop-itis?
Its not a secret that black men and teens are being slaughtered in the streets of the country. What just tops it .. is that the murderers are allowed to get away with it based on the race of the victims.

        • olford August 22nd, 2014 at 3:59 pm

Can you sit aside your hate and ask for justice ? This what I would ask for if it were you.

    • Shades August 21st, 2014 at 8:05 pm

BS. That lie was exposed days ago. There’s video of him walking around Brown’s dead body and he sure as hell wasn’t favoring any area of his face. If you have to make up crap like that, you know your side is wrong.

      • BanditBasheert August 21st, 2014 at 10:47 pm

It’s all they have. “Attack the victim”.
Leaving Brown’s body lying in the street was appalling –

The fact that the “police report” was just released, dated 8/19/2014 (10 days after the shooting) and it says NOTHING.

    • BanditBasheert August 21st, 2014 at 10:45 pm

That’s been debunked. Sorry to disappoint you.
The fact that the idiot cop chased Brown shooting wildly (and hitting someone house) indicates that the threat Brown had initially posed was gone. The kill shots were delivered while Brown was hit and going down.
The cop will walk – but he’s not going to be happy with his future.

      • olford August 22nd, 2014 at 3:56 pm

Why is Mr. Brown the only victim here ? Did Mr. Brown just minutes before bully (in arrogance ) robbed a story owner ( citizen) and shoved him out of the way before walking out with products from the store with out paying. ?

    • ChrisVosburg August 22nd, 2014 at 9:58 am

Bobby writes: Cop has broken bones in eye socket

Fascinating, “bones” plural. How many bones are there in the “eye socket,” Doctor?

  15. ZiggyBob August 21st, 2014 at 3:29 pm

maybe if that horses ass of a governor, Nixon hadn’t incited further unrest maybe they would have been able to protest in peace

  16. RioBravoHombre August 21st, 2014 at 4:16 pm

These white people know that their white privilege is circling the bowl, faster and faster.

  17. Dwendt44 August 21st, 2014 at 4:18 pm

I’m all for justice for officer Wilson. I think 15 to life is totally JUST.

  18. madashellnow August 21st, 2014 at 8:11 pm

I surely see a lot of people here saying, “Don’t confuse me with the facts, my mind is made up.” It’s time to wait on the fact and the legal system to do its job.

    • skohayes August 21st, 2014 at 8:22 pm

Here’s a fact- Officer Wilson shot a black teenager for no good reason.

A white guy was just arrested in St Louis earlier today, got in a fight with the cop and broke his hand, kicked the other cop and amazingly (or maybe not), the guy is sitting in jail right now instead of laying under a sheet in the middle of the road.

        and people wonder why?

      • R.J. Carter August 21st, 2014 at 11:16 pm

You had a fact… Until those last four words yanked it back into the world of conjecture.

      • olford August 22nd, 2014 at 3:51 pm

Why does color have anything to do with anything. We are all human and deserve honesty and justice. I have a dream, when a man is judged by the content of his character not by the color of his skin. MLK
Love drivers out hate and injustice.

    • whatthe46 August 21st, 2014 at 8:33 pm

we all know how that works out a lot of times. not at all.

    • BanditBasheert August 21st, 2014 at 10:48 pm

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahha .. oh that is a good one.

I guess there is no such thing as a tea bagger who can spell.

    • olford August 22nd, 2014 at 3:47 pm

Why do you think they represent Tea Party ? Don’t you believe everyone should have the facts ?

  21. John_St_John August 22nd, 2014 at 10:03 am

Vigorous Prosecution Jay Nikon? So Nikon has a photographer on scene demanding vigorous prosecution? Or are they calling for the vigorous prosecution of one Jay Nikon, who is not to be confused with Missouri governor Jay Nixon, who may in fact be the alter beagle of Jay Nikon… or is it the other way around? Nonetheless this was not the best venue to debut the stand up comedy act of Slap Me & Stupid.

  22. Bob Amsel August 22nd, 2014 at 1:57 pm

People in Missouri know how to spell Nixon’s name. I suspect these two are out-of-state white supremacists.
