The grand jury examining the case of the shooting death of a black teen, Michael Brown, by a while police officer in Ferguson, Missouri on Aug. 9 is primarly comprised of white jurors, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Friday. The panel comprises one black man, two black women; and six white men and three white women.…

Demarxists always judge first by the color of one’s skin. They have no interest in the content of character.

Well doesn’t this news just take me back to the1950’s.

That is what I call blatant corruption.
Tommy6860 August 23rd, 2014 at 11:17 pm
And I call that a euphemism for Jim Crow.

What do you want, quota’s for the city council and police forces? If black residents do not step forward to take these positions I guess whitey must be at fault.

Why assume a juror will be partial based on race? I sat on a jury where the entire jury was white and the defendant was black and he was acquitted.

grand jurors does NOT decide whether or not someone is guilty of a crime. you’re not bright at all. and you are liar.

Does it make you feel good when you cast aspersions against those whom you do not know? It is much more mature to debate the subject and leave out the petty personal attacks.
As for the Grand Jury, they will decide if there is enough evidence to bring the case to trial. I would not like people like Holder or Sharpton to be deciding my fate because they are known racist and they don’t try to hide it.

You mean aspersions like calling Holder and Sharpton racists?
Always Right August 24th, 2014 at 6:03 pm
Are you saying they aren’t?
Carla Akins August 24th, 2014 at 6:14 pm
I rarely agree with what they say, but I haven’t heard them make racist comments.
whatthe46 August 24th, 2014 at 7:43 pm
why are they racist?

you don’t continue to amaze me as you’ve said nothing new that suggest you’re still clueless.

tea party central wouldn’t have it any other way. Anyone surprised ?

what’s the statement: prosecutors ca indict a ham sandwich. lets see if that holds true in this case.
crc3 August 24th, 2014 at 8:37 am
Ridiculous. This case is stacked against any indictment of Wilson and has been from the very beginning. This is a deep rooted nationwide problem that is not going away. In many ways we are still living in the 50’s and 60’s where discrimination was commonplace…

Sigh, another civics 101 fail on the part of commenters. The grand jury (which will only be weighing evidence to charge, not actually trying the case) was assembled more than 2 months before the incident. The demographics of the jury accurately reflect the demographics of St. Louis county. Unless commenters are suggesting that grand juries should be stacked according to each case

I am very worried about this shooting in Ferguson. I am waiting to hear all the evidence before I make my final decision as to what happened. I have heard everything that has been said on both sides. No matter what the outcome is. So many things were done so wrong in all aspects of this tragedy. Mostly by the Ferguson Police Dept. In excusable things.. But, as Liberal as I am. If Micheal Brown did assault The Officer.. And thats a BIG if.. I can see a scared officer firing till his gun was empty because he was scared out of his wits. People have to understand. If I was assaulted and got hit in the eye. And was scared shitless, I would empty my gun into or in the direction of the threat. And think of other things later.. But that is the only acceptable reason for firing so many rounds. I hope people truly put themselves in that spot and question them selves of what they would do . I hope everybody can accept the final evidence if and when it finally comes all out.. I seriously think at the very least, The officer used way excessive force even in the best version. But I am waiting to hear everything. Lets just hope they get to it fast so the healing can begin.

can you see a kid being shot 4 times in his arm “unafraid?” can you imagine someone who claims to have suffered a broken eye socket from a hit in the eye, managing to hit his target 6 times. (i mentioned this before) imagine a contact in your eye and something as simple as a tiny eyelash gets on it, that’s a feeling that drives you insane. you can’t see for the blinking and irritation and it can hurt. i can’t do anything until i take the contact out and remove the hair. so a painful and broken eye socket will be more devistating than that. and its clear that because of the 2 bullets to the head he was already on his way down, that’s not acceptable. one other thing… the police chief himself acknowledged that even he knew nothing about an injury to the officer and that was at the time of his press conference. convenient isn’t it that we hear about an injury days later.
