The St. Louis County police officer who was suspended for his rant at an Oath Keeper meeting had some wonderful things to say there that should be duly noted.

“I personally believe in Jesus Christ as my lord and savior, but I’m also a killer,” said officer Dan Page, a 35-year veteran, in the video. “I’ve killed a lot. And if I need to, I’ll kill a whole bunch more. If you don’t want to get killed, don’t show up in front of me. I have no problems with it. God did not raise me to be a coward.” Page added, “I’m into diversity — I kill everybody. I don’t care.”

This lovely man is also a birther.

The comments, which were made before members of the Christian organization, the Oath Keepers, also included his story of going to Kenya in search of “undocumented president,” Barack Obama. “I flew to Africa, right there, and I went to our undocumented president’s home,” Page said, holding a picture of him in Kenya. “He was born in Kenya.”[su_sky_ad]

What a lovely, lovely individual. I feel ever so much better knowing that such people are protecting and serving society.

He certainly sounds like he has been institutionalized.

      Or needs to be!

      • mea_mark August 23rd, 2014 at 2:06 pm

Well, let’s just say he’s in the wrong institution and needs to be reassigned.

“I personally believe in Jesus Christ as my lord and savior, but I’m also a killer,”
The absolutely most contrary statement ever written.

How can someone like this call himself a follower of Jesus?

      • Tammy Minton Haley August 24th, 2014 at 12:54 pm

uh…i’m w-a-y more concerned with him calling himself a “police officer”…

How are people listening to this beast and not calling him out? Do they support what he is saying? My friggin head would of exploded.

Now, Suzanne, we know that no one on the right has the courage to tell the nutbags to sit down and STFU. They allow people like Dan Page to say stupid and divisive sh*t and pretend they don’t hear him, and when the individual f*cks up like Page has done, they pretend again that he doesn’t represent them. Many on the right are loathe to weed out the nutbags, especially the politicians, because they’re afraid if they speak out against them, they’ll be punished by the mouth-breathers on the far right. Instead of standing up to people like Page, many politicians on the right move further to the right to appease them, then they wonder why the GOPTP can’t put a man/woman in the WH. The GOPTP “autopsy” they performed after losing the WH in 2012 may as well have not been done because they’ve ignored everything in it.

I just can’t fathom the fact that more than one person would support these views. I for some reason cannot believe there are so many out there that carry around so much hate an anger. These people are actually supporting death for people because of skin color. I can’t believe there are people who are like that. I know some rwnj’s and some are in my family, but I don’t see them accepting this rhetoric and if they did I am not sure how I would react, and I definitely don’t want to find out.

Yeah–Jesus was all about killing everybody…

    • Larry Schmitt August 23rd, 2014 at 4:40 pm

Yes, because the most violent thing he did, that we know of, was turn over some tables in the temple.

      • Esteban Rey August 23rd, 2014 at 6:28 pm

        Didn’t he whip some people?

        • Larry Schmitt August 23rd, 2014 at 6:35 pm

          But there was no blood.

Somebody was way overdue for his ‘psych eval’.

“I’m into diversity — I kill everybody. I don’t care.” I say give him all the ammo he wants… and let him have at it…. as long as he starts with himself

I have no problem with killing people, I’m not a coward, says he. The machopaths’ definition of bravery. If you stomp on kittens and beat up old ladies in wheelchairs, that means you’re even more brave.

The BEST kind of stupid is a great, big ball of EVERY kind of stupid, all in one!!!

i think we need to stop advertising this–let’em keep showing themselves, so we know who they are…oh, yes, remove them from authority positions, of course…but, do it quietly, so they continue to crawl out into the light…

they’ve been saying that we progressives have no idea how infiltrated our military, police and government are with these people…

      • Tammy Minton Haley August 24th, 2014 at 1:04 pm

Maya Angelou said it better than i–

“When someone tells you who they are, believe them…”
