Ten years doing hard labor in prison seems to be sufficient, says Internet pastor Michael V. Williams. Williams says Christians have been “increasingly tolerant” of gays over the lat 50 years, but that is not a good thing.

“Whereas homosexuality used to be a felony in every state — referred to as sodomy — it has now been decriminalized, and homosexuality is allowed to be openly expressed in public,” he notes. “While Christians are becoming increasingly tolerant of homosexuals, homosexuals are becoming increasingly intolerant of us.”

“It’s time for Christians to resume obeying God and his word, and to re-criminalize homosexuality, outlaw it again,” the pastor continues. “The only way to do this and keep it beyond the reach of activist judges and unaccountable bureaucrats is to create a constitutional amendment.”

Williams’ proposed amendment to the U.S. Constitution declares that the “United States of America is a Christian nation with Judeo-Christian ethics, morals, principles and values.”

And it decrees that the “practice of homosexuality in the United States of America and in all its territories and possessions, and in all its States, Counties and Cities shall be a felony punishable by ten years in prison at hard labor.”

This guy has a program called “preaching Politics”, wtf. Does he have another one called “Evading Taxes”?

  3. Bunya August 25th, 2014 at 4:42 pm

Yeah well, I want a constitutional amendment to imprison mentally unstable “pastors”, but we can’t always get what we want.

    • granpa.usthai August 25th, 2014 at 7:44 pm

good point. Personally I’d like to see a Constitutional Amendment that prohibits Smiling Republicans from soiling themselves in public, but that’s about as likely as preventing them from talking in public.

  4. Suzanne McFly August 25th, 2014 at 4:45 pm

He sounds like a drama queen

    • Robert Merrill Taylor August 25th, 2014 at 6:26 pm

I suspect that he is a “queen” in more ways than one.

      • Suzanne McFly August 25th, 2014 at 6:32 pm

        No way, that never happens

        YOU CAN’T PROVE THAT!
        YOU CAN’T PROVE THAT!

important men of God that ain’t got enough supporters to help fund their holy fleet of NON TAXABLE jets are doomed to fly public. Just because he might get caught dancing with his baggage handler in a men’s stall doesn’t mean anything!

this guy needs to get a life

  6. Always Right August 25th, 2014 at 4:50 pm

I wonder what bible he is reading. If we locked up everyone for their sins there would be none of us left. God is the final judge for all of us and only He will decide our fate, not this poor misguided soul.

  7. Larry Schmitt August 25th, 2014 at 5:00 pm

Increasingly tolerant? What country has he been living in? And how would their homosexuality be determined? Would the government install cameras in everyone’s bedrooms? You don’t expect anyone to admit to it, with a prison sentence as the reward, do you? This has to be a joke, because after putting 5 seconds of thought into it, those are the problems I came up with immediately. And that’s just off the top of my pointy little head.

Williams’ proposed amendment to the U.S. Constitution declares that the
“United States of America is a Christian nation with Judeo-Christian
    ethics, morals, principles and values.

Really? Let’s see, as we then go on to legitimize:

-Women being ostracized for having their menstrual cycle.
-People being beaten for eating shellfish, pork and any other edible deemed an abomination.
    -Slavery, chattel and rape.
    -Animal sacrifice.
-Discrimination against anyone handicapped, deformed, etc. (yes, that’s really in the bible, Lev 21: 18-24)
    -Polygamy (Polyandry still outlawed)

Essentially, this could also be the TOP Constitution.

    • Always Right August 25th, 2014 at 7:09 pm

I believe the moral code our founders used was the ten commandments, not Old Testament laws meant for disobedient Jews.

      • Tommy6860 August 25th, 2014 at 7:18 pm

Biblical news flash! The Ten Commandments are from the OT.

      • granpa.usthai August 25th, 2014 at 7:36 pm

just because the founding fathers were halfass religious don’t mean God’s LAWS cannot be followed to the letter!
You need to be aware of Mrs. Betty Bowers (BEST christian in America) you tube explanations of what GOD really says, per the written Instructions, not some 21st century made to order garble. His word is NEVER changing even if less christians are too stupid to understand. Mrs. Betty Bowers (BEST christian in America) is so close to Jesus the other two parts of the trinity call her Yoko behind her back.

I now have Betty Bowers bookmarked. Thanks.

      • jasperjava August 25th, 2014 at 7:41 pm

The Ten Commandments don’t have force of law either. Where are the laws against worshipping other gods? Not observing the Sabbath? Making graven images? Failing to honor your parents? Adultery? Coveting? Heck, our entire economy is based on coveting. That’s what advertizing is all about.

Just about the only Commandments we have codified into law are the ones about murder and theft, and they are common to all religions and cultures.

If the Founding Fathers meant to make the Ten Commandments into law, they failed miserably.

I also take exception to your description of the Old Testament law to be for “disobedient Jews”. Sounds anti-Semitic. They’re for OBEDIENT Jews, actually, but even in Israel they’re not taken very seriously.

        • Always Right August 25th, 2014 at 10:05 pm

My point was in reply to what tommy6860 posted. You’re right, they were for obedient Jews too. At least we agree the Old Testament were laws for the people at the time.
The last 6 commandments were for secular moral behavior.

  9. Jonas Familly August 25th, 2014 at 5:39 pm

Just a thought !!! Why not TAX all religions who preach politics then throw the pastors in jail. Under our constitution religion is protected but separate. religious law is not Civil Law

And Jesus spake unto his flock, saying, “Makest thou such a pest of thyself that people will do anything to shuteth thee up. And when this hath come to pass, thou shalt cry loudly in the streets that thou art persecuted.”(Colostomies 1:3)

    • whatthe46 August 25th, 2014 at 8:42 pm

if they want sodomy to be illegal, shouldn’t their wives be able to file a criminal complaint against them?

  12. Shades August 25th, 2014 at 7:06 pm

    Good luck with that.

  13. Dwendt44 August 25th, 2014 at 8:12 pm

“t’s time for Christians to resume obeying God and his word,”
Exactly where in the bible does it say to make the laws of a democratic republic align with the scribblings of goat herders from 2000 years ago.

    It’s funny, really–
how those who complain the loudest-and-longest about shariah law seem to desire the very same style of legislation , only in “Christian” form.
    Another “roaring mouse” in action.
