Krista Hodges is still employed at California’s Newark Memorial High School in spite of having Tweeted that she wants to stab kids.

Doug Oakley at the Oakland Tribune published some of her more threatening tweets, which were collected by Hodges’s colleague over a period of six months. Hodges shared plenty of ideas about how she might kill and/or torture her students on Twitter, including:

  • “I am getting Starbucks for sure before school tomorrow. That way I’ll be refreshed AND have something to dump on the little a-holes.”
  • “So happy to be done w/school for 10 days, but especially to be away from the ones who truly try my patience & make my trigger finger itchy.”
  • “The problem w/teaching summer school is I’m gonna get all the dipshits who failed my class, 2 of whom I wish would get hit by a car.”

Hodges can’t understand the offense where, as she insists, “Everyone knows I’m one of the most liked teachers on campus. And that’s because I form meaningful and long-lasting relationships with my students.” [su_sky_ad]

It’s all fun and games until a teacher dumps a garbage can over an 11 year old special ed boy’s head in front of the whole class and permanently scars him to the point that 33 years later he is writing about it on a public online forum at 11:30 p.m. on a Thursday night. Not that I know from experience. (Mr. Huston, one day revenge will be mine. I save daily for the the time when I can buy my own drone and then reeeeveeeenge!)

That’s like saying that if you’re in customer service you have to love customers. 🙂 Right Carla?

Why is a woman like that teaching, if that’s how she feels about kids? Is that school district so hard up for teachers that they couldn’t find a replacement?

  11. Denise August 29th, 2014 at 8:59 am

She sounds like a sociopath. She’s been posting these type tweets for at least 6 months, and she still has a job? Teachers and police unions make it damn near impossible to fire anybody. This lady should have been fired as soon as the tweets were reported.
