Bigger Problem With #IceBucketChallenge: Other Stunts Like #FeelingNuts
Because of the success of the ice bucket challenge, more of these stunts are showing up, with #feelingnuts getting traction now. Now we have to endure watching men feeling their testicles, like British television presenter Rick Edwards.
The latest trend that seems like it might actually have a chance at catching on is more about raising awareness than money, and it uses the easy-to-remember hashtag #FeelingNuts. While it was actually started back in June by the British organization Check One Two, which aims to get men to check their testicles for potentially cancerous lumps, the #FeelingNuts campaign has recently started to spread to the celebrity set.
English television presenter Rick Edwards nominated comedian Ricky Gervais for the #FeelingNuts challenge earlier this week, which consists on nothing more than taking a photo of yourself grabbing your balls:

Someone on this site has a SERIOUS personal hang-up with the ice bucket challenge. It’s publicity for an underfunded charity, what’s your beef?
Video stunts are not a new phenomenon. The ice bucket challenge did not invent or even popularize them. Cinnamon challenge, anyone? Planking? Harlem Shake?

I do the “Feeling Nuts” stunt every month…in my bedroom after I have taken a shower!
Testicular cancer is nothing to laugh at.
And neither is ALS, for that matter.
