Rep. Peter King: If Only Obama Could Be A Leader Like Cameron
[su_right_ad]Congressman Peter king pines for president who can lead, and wishes we had a head of state like Britain’s David Cameron.
I wish our president was showing the same leadership David Cameron showed,” King said. “What is the president waiting for? I agree that we have to have coalitions and other forces on our side, but it was a year ago that this all started. ..We can’t wait forever, and the longer we do wait, the stronger ISIS becomes, more people are massacred, and the more America and Britain become at risk.”
This weekend Britain elevated its threat level to “severe” for the first time in over five years in response to the threat from ISIS, particularly the worry that British citizens have joined the Sunni militant organization. Cameron proposed legislation that targeted the passports of those suspected of joining ISIS.
If only President Obama would do what David Cameron does, he could have the approval of Peter King. Well, at least King didn’t say Putin.

What King really wanted to say: “Let’s go back to issuing terror alerts and scaring the bejesus out of everyone!”
With guys like Peter King, it’s always about optics. He has so easily forgotten that President Obama has launched military strikes in Iraq, and Cameron refused to.
Any sane individual would admit that one of these indicates more “leadership” than the other, but not Peter King. He wants some loud sabre rattling, and he wants it now!!!

The Brits are used to raising the terror alarm to “high” – they got plenty of practice every time Peter King gave money to the IRA to supply them with bombs and guns to carry out their terrorist campaign against men, women and children. No economic growth and high unemployment, I can understand why Pep King wants Obama to be more like Cameron, So he would have something real to complain about.

These wingers go on these talk shows and say what Obama should do. Then Obama last year goes on to ask for their vote to do it, and then it was reported that King made this comment. How about congress do its job. Oh by the way, King was side by side with McCain and Graham calling to help the Syrian rebels.
