Gun Falls Out Of Boyfriend’s Pants Pocket While Woman Is Doing Laundry, Bullet Grazes Her Head
In Medford Oregon, a 19-year-old woman was doing laundry on Saturday night when she pulled her boyfriend’s pants out of a backpack and a 9mm handgun in the pocket fired. The bullet grazed the side of her head.
[su_center_ad]The 19-year-old woman was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Medford police Sgt. D.J. Graham said he didn’t know how serious the injury was, but said it was described as a grazing wound across the side of her head that cut her skin.
According to the Mail Tribune, Graham said no charges have been filed.
The couple’s names have not been released at this time. Graham said that he did not know whether there were children in the home at the time of the shooting.
Graham reminded gun owners to keep their firearms “in a safe place.”
He added that Medford police have free handgun locks available at the police station. For the record, many police departments offer free trigger locks but you’d have to go all the way there to get one. [su_csky_ad]
