Mitt Romney is continuing his “I lost the presidency but I should have won” tour. Rather than show humility at having lost, he continues to tell the world how much better things would be had we won.[su_center_ad]

“No question about that in my mind. The American people may disagree with me,” Romney said in a “Fox News Sunday” interview.

He argued Clinton, President Barack Obama’s former secretary of state, lacks the necessary experience run the country.

“Look, you’ve got to get this economy going. You’ve got to have people that know what it takes to create jobs,” Romney continued. “You’ve got to have that understanding. You’ve also got to have people who have actually run something. … I don’t think Hillary Clinton has that experience.”

Romney further said Clinton is too linked to the current White House to be able to present a record that’s not a complete “disaster.”

“I look for instance at her record as secretary of state. Look, her record is Barack Obama’s record in foreign policy. And it’s a disaster,” he said. “Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are two peas in the same pod. And the American people have tasted that and have said, ‘Look, it’s not a good taste.'”

You know what’s also not a good taste? Listening to someone who lost go on for years about how much better would be had we won. And it’s also not in good taste.

And there’s no question in the majority of voters minds who knows he is wrong.

  2. edmeyer_able September 7th, 2014 at 3:25 pm

    Aaaaaand he’s RUNNING

    • Anomaly 100 September 7th, 2014 at 3:31 pm

Yay! I’d love to beat up on him again.

    • Suzanne McFly September 7th, 2014 at 4:07 pm

      Another easy win, woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • edmeyer_able September 7th, 2014 at 4:16 pm

First he’ll have to win the nod. I find it hard to believe the party will back him again but w/what they have to choose from at this point it’s possible.
Rand looks like the best candidate right now but he may not want to risk losing his seat in the senate.

        • Suzanne McFly September 7th, 2014 at 4:19 pm

The only thing Rand has going for him is his fathers stance on legalization, he still won’t give a definitive answer on his own stance. There is no way anyone can win with just republicans voting for them, they have to find someone who will appeal to a broad audience and I don’t really see anyone on the right that can do that.

Pence (IN) is ticking off the Tea-baggers. He is moving towards the middle. They had thought about him running.

  3. mea_mark September 7th, 2014 at 3:31 pm

Romney is either a blatant liar or totally delusional and maybe both. Regardless, he certainly isn’t fit to be president with what is coming out of his mouth.

    • edmeyer_able September 7th, 2014 at 3:33 pm

He created and shipped more jobs overseas than he ever did in the US.

    • Suzanne McFly September 7th, 2014 at 4:08 pm

Maybe it is arrogance that is the true bliss and not ignorance? Who knew?

  4. Guy Lauten September 7th, 2014 at 3:35 pm

Keep it up Mitt. Nothing like reminding all the apathetic voters why they dislike you just before another election.

  5. JMax September 7th, 2014 at 4:02 pm

There was no question in his mind that he won the 2012 election either, at least until the battleground state results started coming in.

  6. Obewon September 7th, 2014 at 4:07 pm

    Bishop Willard, voters kicked your ass by 51% 3:2 (D) 332 to (R) 206-47% If only you’d have selected a VP in a dress like Palin maybe you could’a cried a (D) 365 to (R) 173 2:1 fail.

  7. Carlos M. Morales September 7th, 2014 at 4:22 pm

Thanks. I hope you keep that one handy! I think the Saudis are in the running to beat Texas in executions this year. No doubt just a friendly competition.

  9. abbyjo2001 September 7th, 2014 at 4:31 pm

What an obnoxious, totally useless human being. His magic underwear aren’t nearly as magic as he would need them to be for him to ever be President.

  10. OldLefty September 7th, 2014 at 4:41 pm

And if Obama could run again, he would lose to him again.

  11. jwong318 September 7th, 2014 at 4:49 pm

To Mitten: Get over It, Loser! U will be the worst President. Glad u did not win!! Suck It!

    • Larry Schmitt September 8th, 2014 at 4:54 pm

But where would he outsource the jobs to?

      • fancypants September 8th, 2014 at 6:25 pm

XL pipeline my friend ! that’s where he would outsource the jobs to and never leave the whitehouse. How is that for a magic trick ?

  18. King Robert September 7th, 2014 at 5:50 pm

Good happy to hear it, so go buy yourself a small country and declare yourself President Mitt-witt for Life.

    Thanks for the laugh Mittens!

  20. crc3 September 7th, 2014 at 6:06 pm

If Mitt runs again he should pick McCain as his running mate. Two former losers who will continue the tradition and lose yet again….

There’s no question in my mind that I’m better looking, more suave and charming and a better actor than George Clooney, too. So?

  25. burqa September 7th, 2014 at 8:36 pm

Republicans have always been more comfortable in the realm of fantasy than reality.

I bet Romney also thinks Michael Spinks woulda beat Tyson in a rematch….

  26. Arturo Jacobo Saiz September 7th, 2014 at 8:49 pm

Listening to this Cretin whose always been a loser go on for years about how much better would be had we won. You Fucking lost…get over it………….

  27. juicyfruityyy September 7th, 2014 at 9:02 pm

Well, the 47% disagree with you. Also, you did not win OHIO!! i hope I never have to find out our great you think you are.

    • Candide Thirtythree September 8th, 2014 at 4:04 pm

He was such a complete loser at being governor that he could not even run for a second term, the democrats in the legislature vetoed almost every thing he tried to do, he was out f the state 3/4 of his one term, he could not be bothered to work at all so they pretty much told him that he was so hated in that state that he should just sign what they told him to sign and he did.

The man has never worked a day in his life, the only thing he knows how to do is lie cheat and steal from the poor and tax payers.

  28. Winslow Bunny September 7th, 2014 at 10:27 pm

The picture of Romney in this article says it all – he’s Bush with the less-obvious smirk, born on third base and thought he hit a triple. He’s a member of the 1% whose interactions with the 99% consists of “what can you do for me today?”. The man is an empty suit, who ran for president and thought he’d win because he’s had everything else handed to him. Remember the debates? He couldn’t explain his own tax plan or budget without pulling random numbers out of the air (neither could Ryan, for that matter). The networks who pay any attention to him, or Cheney, or any of the warmongering, privileged, conceited idiots from this millennium debunk the notion of the liberal media.

  29. majii September 7th, 2014 at 11:18 pm

I remember when Romney promised that if he were elected in 2012, he could create between 12-13 million jobs in his first term. I also remember many on the right believing him. What he didn’t say was that the 2011 and 2012 economic models predicted that those jobs would be created anyway, as the nation made the slow journey toward economic recovery. He wanted to take credit for the groundwork that Pres. Obama laid for the economic recovery, even though he and his buddies still claim that the stimulus, the main driver of economic recovery, was a massive failure.

If he were POTUS and there had been 54 months of steady job creation, he’d be full of himself, the GOPTPers would be crowing and strutting around, pretending that his very presence in the WH was the reason. No, his being in the WH would have had nothing to do with it. Pres. Obama built this while having to deal with strong opposition from GOPTP republicans inside, and outside of, Congress every step of the way.

things are so bad A Gallup Poll of dead Chicago voters shows 78% now regret voting for Obama a second time

    • fancypants September 8th, 2014 at 7:28 am

I hear the gop relies on gallop a lot so that’s not too far from the truth or should I say Expected results.

    • Candide Thirtythree September 8th, 2014 at 3:57 pm

and all the fact checking organizations say that republicans LIE 300% more than democrats… but Romney said he has no use for facts.

  31. VALERIE MARTIN September 8th, 2014 at 2:43 pm

    Romney,
He’s like the guy who has been rejected repeatedly by a girl he’s stalking and has convinced himself that if she could just see how good he is for her she’d love him.

America might have to file for a restraining order.
    😉

    • Candide Thirtythree September 8th, 2014 at 3:56 pm

      Hahahaha Brilliant!

      • VALERIE MARTIN September 8th, 2014 at 7:56 pm

        I know…….
unfortunately, I didn’t come up with it
myself, but have permission to share!
        (wish I had!)

  32. Candide Thirtythree September 8th, 2014 at 3:56 pm

He and all the republicans said that they could not wait to get in office to start a bunch of wars, and give away all the national resources to the rich and even foreign governments like that stinking pipeline that TX is already jailing homeowners so they can steal their land to sell to Canada…..

Those monsters would sell the whole country right out from under us if it were not for a handful of democrats and an Indie who keep the spotlight on republican crimes.

  33. Airedelapaz September 9th, 2014 at 1:33 pm

“No question in my mind I would have been a better president….” Kind of rolls of the tongue doesn’t it? Easier said than done Mitt. Your presidency would have been different, yes, but it’s not an easy time to be a leader. 🙂
