Some things just can’t be defended and this is one of them. A sign in Houston reads “Does one of Obamas family members have to be beheaded for “change” to happen?” After two journalists were recently beheaded by ISIS members, somehow CEO Jeremy Alcede found this sign to be acceptable. For the record, it should read “Obama’s.” but the sign is in badr taste anyway so the poor grammar goes with the sign like white on rice.

[su_center_ad]”I look and see what’s going on throughout the week, realize what’s an issue, what needs to be fixed, and if I think it’s important then that’s what I’ll voice my opinion,” he said.

As for people driving by the provocative sign, Alcede said, “You should show them the news and say this is reality kids. Beheadings happen, but they shouldn’t.”

According to KHOU, past signs have included shots at the President over immigration reform and gun control.

Not everyone thinks the message is effective.

“I think as far as freedom of speech is concerned it’s protected, but it’s in pretty poor taste,” Katy resident Marco Romero said.

In contrast, Stacey Hayes said, “He’s saying things the rest of us might be afraid to say.”

Hate & racism is selling well in the USA, especially to the lowest educated of our citizenry.

    • bhil September 10th, 2014 at 12:17 am

      Thanks to Fox etc.

  6. RightIsWrong September 9th, 2014 at 9:51 pm

Rick Perry is a scumbag….and Texas is nothing more than a backward place in time where racism is alive and well.

    • Skydog2 September 10th, 2014 at 1:58 am

Is there a connection between Rick Perry and the sign?

      • fahvel September 10th, 2014 at 2:06 am

        • Skydog2 September 10th, 2014 at 8:56 am

Other than Perry lives in Texas with 26 million other people, what is the connection?

          • raincheck September 10th, 2014 at 2:20 pm

Perry and the JACK*SS who’s responsible for the sign, are of the same ilk… do you really need it spelled out for you? or are you being obtuse?

          • Skydog2 September 10th, 2014 at 5:07 pm

            The same ilk? *yawn*

          • raincheck September 10th, 2014 at 6:13 pm

I’m so tired of this crap. How is it the thuglicans are always doing this stuff with impunity. I am fed up. I want to know why their propaganda station, the politicians and news outlets always spew lies and crap and nothing is ever done by liberals to refute it. Lots and lots of people don’t check for facts and just believe what they hear and what they hear is lies. I wish democratic politicians would start playing the same game, I really do. Not the lies, but pointing out the lies and telling people how stupid they are for believing them.

    • whatthe46 September 9th, 2014 at 10:05 pm

why do you think they are not winning any elections? because the people are aware of the real facts and voting. some republicans just refuse to vote period, even if it means the other guy is clearly the better candidate.

      • Slap September 12th, 2014 at 7:38 pm

here in Houston, a warehouse full of 10,000 voting machines were torched. (just exactly what was on those Diebold voting machines and what were the republicans afraid of?) And then the budget that was going to replace those paperless voting machines with the paperTRAIL receipt voting machines was used up having to replace the voting machines any way they could before the election about 6 weeks away. Yeah, republicans were afraid that the machines were going to be used against them and then made sure that they could still cheat and fix the machines with their bluetooth hacking by preventing the purchase of papertrail voting machines.

I’m sorry to say, I drive past that thing going to the grocery. There are rational people in Texas, really, just not there.

    • M D Reese September 10th, 2014 at 2:00 am

I feel your pain. I live in a red state too. Lots of really offensive bumper stickers and of course everybody just assumes that you agree with them.

      • granpa.usthai September 10th, 2014 at 7:10 am

GW’s boys taught them well how to ‘assume’ you’re the majority.

    • Slap September 12th, 2014 at 7:34 pm

can’t you get your paintball gun out and shoot that thing up? Or better yet, just do what republicans do, destroy it or make it disappear. I am disgusted by people that are dumbazz and hateful enough to think that is appropriate. I think you should call the local FBI or Secret Secret office and tell them where it is and make an official report and let them go visit with the azzhole to remind him that threats against the President are hate speech and will land his azz in jail!

  9. Denise September 9th, 2014 at 11:37 pm

I am ready for Texas to secede from the union. What’s taking so long? Go, already!

    • Dwendt44 September 10th, 2014 at 12:34 am

      I’ll help them pack.

    • whatthe46 September 10th, 2014 at 1:03 am

wait until i can find a more sane place to live. damn, that’s gonna be tough. lol
      but, i’m serious, wait.

      • M D Reese September 10th, 2014 at 1:58 am

I’d recommend the North West. There’s still a few pockets of sanity here and there.

        • whatthe46 September 10th, 2014 at 2:56 am

where actually? i’m just grossed out about people seriously.

          • Slap September 12th, 2014 at 7:31 pm

skip idaho completely — nothing but batchit crazyazz right wingatarded loons there. stay west of the mountains in washington… the right wingtards are en masse just over the ridge.

  10. bhil September 10th, 2014 at 12:17 am

Just what is it he’s looking to change? Obama is the change he wanted.

    • whatthe46 September 10th, 2014 at 1:02 am

not the right color of change.

  11. juicyfruityyy September 10th, 2014 at 12:18 am

There are no adults in charge in Texas. i would say, something like this against a President’s family, is not free speech. It falls under hate speech and should be required to be removed.

    • whatthe46 September 10th, 2014 at 1:01 am

you are absolutely correct. sickening isn’t it? actually it breaks my heart. and these very peope have the fukin’ audacity to say crap about other countries with distain, as if we’re better than anyone in the entire world.

    • Skydog2 September 10th, 2014 at 1:59 am

Free speech includes being free to say stupid things.

      • whatthe46 September 10th, 2014 at 2:52 am

indeed it does. but note: it also means it may come back to haunt you.

        • Skydog2 September 10th, 2014 at 5:06 pm

          True statement.

      • raincheck September 10th, 2014 at 9:02 am

If it didn’t, you would be left speechless

    • fahvel September 10th, 2014 at 2:04 am

  12. NMAXXS September 10th, 2014 at 4:35 am

What I learned from this clod’s “teachings” is that the terrorists are winning when it comes to the easily manipulated and reactionary morons in this country.

  13. RioBravoHombre September 10th, 2014 at 6:24 am

Stupid, easily led people cling to the modern conservative movement. Authoritarian followers are attracted to violence. That’s why they cheered for a war with the wrong country. That’s why they cheered for the US to torture detainees. That’s why they cheered Ferguson cops who murder teens, and then roll through the streets like an army. That’s why they cheered for cops who killed a black man at Walmart for holding a pellet gun. That’s why they cheered for an assassin who slaughtered a doctor in his house of worship. That’s why they cheer for abortion clinic bombings. Stupid, easily led white people have no problem cheering on every violent and murderous act imaginable, then go to church to feel superior to those they wish murdered.

  14. granpa.usthai September 10th, 2014 at 7:17 am

Nice to see there is someone else that is opposed to Saudi Arabia’s executions.

  15. Roctuna September 10th, 2014 at 9:41 am

Since I’ve driven by there often enough, I can tell you that there were no shocking messages in 2004. Why do you think that was?
