[su_right_ad]Happy-go-lucky mirthster Dick Cheney has already decided that President Obama’s Wednesday night speech is an abysmal failure, as is the president.

“In a few hours we’ll hear what he has in mind for the terrorist onslaught currently in Iraq. We can hope for — and we should look for — signs of a forceful, bold, and immediate strategy to defeat ISIS. We can say already, however, that such a plan would mark an abrupt and dramatic departure from his rhetoric thus far,” Cheney said…

“This is the most critical measure that we can apply to the president’s remarks today: Any serious strategy has to include a major new commitment to restoring our nation’s military preparedness,” he said. “We’re nearing a crisis point in the decline of American military power; it has to be addressed and right away.”

    How dare he

    • granpa.usthai September 10th, 2014 at 7:32 pm

      BUSINESS, Suzanne
      strictly BUSINESS.
he only uses the Republican flag waving, pants pooping patriotism stuff to charge up the BUSINESS investors.

  2. edmeyer_able September 10th, 2014 at 3:46 pm

He also stated that now is the best time to buy gold and silver.

    • granpa.usthai September 10th, 2014 at 7:24 pm

a side investment to his Halliburton WAR machinery.

  3. edmeyer_able September 10th, 2014 at 3:52 pm

Surprised he didn’t say the Syrians will greet us as “LIBERATORS”.

    • granpa.usthai September 10th, 2014 at 7:29 pm

nothing like long term occupational liberation to help expand the offshore banking industry!

  4. pablopcasso September 10th, 2014 at 4:04 pm

Just think where we’d be now if we hadn’t invaded Iraq…no ISIS there, no destroyed infrastructure, and most importantly, no loss of American lives. Instead, we have beheaded journalists, countless murdered Christians and non-conforming Muslims alike, ramped-up anti-American sentiment, and an old, grumpy man with selective memory who continues to trumpet his lies, distortions, and criticisms of someone still trying to stamp out the fires he started now eleven years ago.

  5. neworleans878 September 10th, 2014 at 4:08 pm

Cheney received 5 deferments during Vietnam.

“I had other priorities in the ’60s than military service”

    Yeah…like getting two DWI’s in ’62 and’63.

    Spare us your concern, Dickless.

    • Skydog2 September 10th, 2014 at 6:17 pm

He got DWIs 50+ years ago? OMG!!!!!!

      • granpa.usthai September 10th, 2014 at 7:22 pm

not bad for a drunken warmongering COWARD, huh?

    • vetsyoucansalute September 12th, 2014 at 12:49 pm

Five deferments?! Hell, I enlisted! And volunteered for an elite force, the “Mobile Riverine Force”, and did two tours. Please understand, I am not some kind of right-wing, hypocrite of a super patriot. I needed to do what I did in order to gain the level of understanding about the world I was eager to have, and the best way for me was to spend several years in the Third World, seeing for myself what the truth about it all was. Five deferments! He should be ashamed of himself, hiding in a corner and sucking his thumb after a good spanking! Goddamn coward. How dare he even have an opinion about anything having to do with Armed Forces?

  6. tiredoftea September 10th, 2014 at 4:28 pm

Darth has always preferred the facts he makes up.

  7. Budda September 10th, 2014 at 4:44 pm

I know this is terribly wrong of me but I wish he would just hurry up and die.

    • granpa.usthai September 10th, 2014 at 7:39 pm

better yet, taken alive by ISIS!

  8. FanOfTravel September 10th, 2014 at 4:48 pm

So DICK,here’s a few other BS utterances. “We’ll be greeted as liberators,” and the Iraqi war will last a few weeks, maybe a month or two,” and the Iraqi war will cost only a few billion dollars.”

    • granpa.usthai September 10th, 2014 at 7:26 pm

      – but the cost will more than be offset by the free Iraqi oil!
(except for the war ‘collateral damage’).

  9. Lorraine Easterling September 10th, 2014 at 4:58 pm

    Shut up loser

  10. Abby Normal September 10th, 2014 at 5:24 pm

God calling Dick Cheney. God calling Dick Cheney. Please report to Hell. That is all.

    • LostSok September 12th, 2014 at 5:32 am

Hell’s on the phone: they don’t want that douchenozzle. They have SOME standards.

    • vetsyoucansalute September 12th, 2014 at 1:01 pm

Great line! Seriously! Here’s how it would have sounded aboard a warship.”Now on the 1MC. Vice President Cheney, your presence is requested in Hell!” It’s been more than forty years, but I think I’m pretty close…

  11. juicyfruityyy September 10th, 2014 at 6:09 pm

This war criminal should never be given air time. His arrogance and greed got us into this mess. The history books will remember this.

    • Skydog2 September 10th, 2014 at 6:14 pm

“This war criminal should never be given air time” – Obama, Cheney, or both?

      • granpa.usthai September 10th, 2014 at 7:21 pm

Cheney, as He has been officially listed as such by members of the EU and other Asian nations.
As for Obama, the investigation has not been completed, yet.

  12. Thomas Davidson September 10th, 2014 at 6:27 pm

    You are not helping Sir!

  13. granpa.usthai September 10th, 2014 at 7:38 pm

strange, but a longer, deadlier and much more profitable WAR would be an all out occupational liberation of Iran. Dick must be winding down in his old age?

  14. Bunya September 10th, 2014 at 8:11 pm

So, Dick Cheney is gonna lecture us on foreign policy and military strategy, two things he knows absolutely nothing about. He’s gonna critique the president’s plan on dealing with the terrorist onslaught currently taking place in Iraq – an onslaught for which the sackless, cowardly, sack’o shit, Cheney and his hapless band of clowns, is responsible.

You’d think the republicans would be smart enough to throw this walking, talking, embarrassment on the trash heap of history, but no. These morons give him a platform.

  15. eddie1247 September 10th, 2014 at 8:27 pm

Oh Dickie you’re such a card.

  16. FanOfTravel September 10th, 2014 at 8:43 pm

    Chaney you are a DICK!!!!!!!!!

  17. Foundryman September 10th, 2014 at 8:57 pm

To borrow a phrase from Mike Tyson… “You’re really a piece of shit, fuck you Cheney”….

  18. dragontech64 September 10th, 2014 at 9:58 pm

“a crisis point in the decline of American military power”

We spend more on the military than the next TWENTY nations COMBINED. Our military isn’t having a decline in power. Yes, we have a decline in PREPAREDNESS since our military is worn out from being at war for more than a decade, but that isn’t something we can spend our way out of, or fix by sending them into MORE wars!

  19. Me September 10th, 2014 at 11:20 pm

Is anyone even still listening to this criminal?

    • vetsyoucansalute September 10th, 2014 at 11:38 pm

Unfortunately, the answer is yes! Frightening, isn’t it?

  20. vetsyoucansalute September 10th, 2014 at 11:32 pm

I can’t even to begin to tell you how sick I am
of this self-righteous, self-aggrandizing, and self-absorbed bastard. And all of his buddies, who are cut from the same cloth. The cloth of never having worn the uniform, never having put themselves in harm’s way, never having spilled their blood in some God-forsaken Hell-Hole to no purpose, and for no reason. To paraphrase Jack Nicholson in “A Few Good Men”, ‘I suggest you take a weapon, and stand a post! Until you do, I don’t give a damn what you think you are entitled to!’

I may be off by a couple of words, but I think the point comes across clearly enough. “Decline in American Military Power?” Is he aware that if the present plan for the F-35 Fighter program is followed the ultimate cost be be on the order of 400 Billion dollars? Just one specific example of our decline in military power.

The big picture? The United States spends fully 50% of the money IN THE WORLD spent on military hardware. I believe that’s enough, and I’m willing to bet that a lot of people believe so as well.

I believe, in my heart, that all of these bastards so willing to spend all our money on weapons, and so eager to send our young men and women to bleed and die in foreign lands should be required to tour a battlefield right after the fight. To hear the anguished screams of those with their legs blown off, crying out for their mothers with their last breath.

    I have had enough!

    • Bunya September 11th, 2014 at 8:39 pm

Are you kidding? They keep Cheney away from battlefields and VA hospitals. Sounds of wailing and screams of anguish is what gives him a boner.

You see, sackless cowardly Dick Cheney received five deferments so he wouldn’t have to witness the carnage in Viet Nam firsthand. That way, when he grew up and became VP, he could send young men and women into Iraq to die without having flashbacks of the horrors caused by war, and therefore feel no remorse

      • vetsyoucansalute September 12th, 2014 at 1:04 pm

Good point. Yeah, very good point.

  21. liberalMD September 10th, 2014 at 11:36 pm

Dick Cheney spent his tenure as Vice-President lying to the American public; it amazes me that there are still some people(mostly Republicans) who listen to anything this man says, much less believe what he says. He needs to have the words “PATHOLOGIC LIAR” tattooed on his forehead for everyone to see.

If there are any incidents provoking the American government deeper into involvement in the Middle East, you can bet Dick Cheney is the mastermind of the plot and John McCain and Lindsey Graham are his henchmen working the government and the American people to extort more money and secure more weapons for the rebels..

  22. LostSok September 12th, 2014 at 5:31 am

In other words: SEND HALLIBURTON MORE MONEY!

I can almost picture Dickless Cheney as Homer Simpson, drooling and mumbling to himself, “Mmmmmmmmm….warrrrrrrr.”

  23. Mitch September 12th, 2014 at 10:00 pm

Who decided that we need to keep hearing from this war criminal on the air?

  24. Mitch September 12th, 2014 at 10:01 pm

This guy has been disgraced, so how is he getting on the air?

  25. AnnSanity September 13th, 2014 at 12:33 pm

We left Europe after WWII, we eventually left Korea and Viet Nam (okay, got run off like everyone before us, but we are all playing nice, right) After every war the combatants go home. As a matter of fact, I seem to recall that Mr. Bush’s Coalition pretty much all left and went home long before the WAR ever got started.

When we left previous wars there were still issues: North/South Vietnam, East/West Germany, North/South Korea. But these countries were LEFT to figure out which direction they would take. We were involved, but we certainly did not launch ground assaults or ask for a new declaration of war!

Why the HELL do these people think we need to stay in Iraq/Afghanistan forever? Oh, wait…these are the folks who got us in this mess in the first place by KILLING the only person who really understood how to control his fellow crazies. Saddam was a horrible man, but he understood the politics and thinking of the powers in that region, and they apparently understood him.

Bush, Cheney, et al, are too rich and too white to really understand the hatred against the West or the Passion that these extremist have for their religion.

The more these folks talk, the more people they anger. Everywhere, including right here in the good old USA! There is a quiet storm brewing and it is going to catch America by surprise. The RW needs to shut these folks up and quickly. I for one refuse to agree with a man who would sentence our young men and women to death simply to protect his wealth.

“Duck tape can cure stupidity, but it can muffle the sound.”
