Elite Golf Courses Refused Obama Labor Day Weekend
President Obama was turned down by top golf courses in Westchester County, New York when he was in town during Labor Day Weekend.

I don’t, it’s not as if the members would suddenly resign. Maybe they would lose some revenue for the day but I doubt much more than that.

Esp considering members do not pay for a round of golf, guests do. My take, if it had been Bush, Reagan, or even Clinton there would have been no problems…

An elite golf course not wanting to give their Labor Day extended weekend revenue, as well as not wanting to deal with the security and logistics of hosting the President on a holiday weekend?
Sounds like a non-story to me… I wouldn’t want to host the President over Labor Day weekend at my golf course either.

These clubs first obligation is to their members. I just can imagine the annoyance of security etc. I don’t see it as a rebuke of the President.

Bet they would have loved to have the president sever as a washroom attendant, because that’s the role right wingers expect black people to play.

These rich elites, don’t like President Obama. Their members would have a fit, to have to give up their weekend, to accommodate him. They felt a sense of honor; to have been able to deny him entrance.

makes sense – every where he goes traffic stops, cops flood the streets, freedom of movement is restricted because he’s an employee of the people. It’s not Obama’s fault – it is the fault of the elitism attributed to political figures and their entourages.
