[su_right_ad]Just what we need, a bunch of politicians paying “Can You Top This” with warmongering.

Wednesday morning anonymous former aides to Hillary Clinton were distancing the presumptive 2016 presidential candidate from President Barack Obama, just hours before his scheduled address outlining military action against ISIS. Anonymity! Is there anything it can’t do?

“You never want to be a Monday morning quarterback on these issues because who knows how things would ultimately turn out, but Obama has been passive on these issues,” a former aidetold The Hill on the condition of anonymity. “She would have taken a more aggressive approach.”

“It’s the very notion of decisiveness,” said another former aide on the condition of anonymity. “She’s not gnashing her teeth the way we’re seeing time and time again with Obama.”

I don’t know about you, but I’d like some teeth-gnashing before we send more Americans off to war.[su_csky_ad]

That right there is why I’ve become skeptical of Hillary. My one concern about her is that she would not blink if it came to going to war.

    • juicyfruityyy September 10th, 2014 at 1:22 pm

You are right. I think she will lead us straight into war. I can see McInsane being the SOS

I’d love to see Elizabeth Warren run but she lacks experience.

        • Abby Normal September 10th, 2014 at 3:01 pm

Elizabeth Warren is the real deal. About 7 or 8 years ago I felt I was being cheated by my credit card company. I sent an e-mail to her when she was a law professor at Harvard. I never expected to hear from her. Imagine my surprise when I received a personal reply from her. She agreed with me, gave me some suggestions on how to deal with the bank and told me her feelings about unfair banking practices and how she hoped to help change them.

If there’s one politician I’d like to meet in my lifetime, it’s Elizabeth Warren. She’s a warrior for the middle class.

I waited hours when Obama came to my little burg, he kept showing up at a different venue, all of which were unannounced.

          • Anomaly 100 September 10th, 2014 at 4:20 pm

            He’s sneaky like that.

It’s why I questioned the golf snub over Labor Day week-end.

I think the most upsetting aspect of this looming Hillary run is her seeming lack of loyalty to the very people who brought her into power. Even though it’s a “political” move it’s showing character and that is what at least I base my vote upon.

      • Anomaly 100 September 10th, 2014 at 1:46 pm

I agree. Even though they ran against each other, Obama put her in office after he was elected. She’s not acting very mature about the prospect of her running.

        • mea_mark September 10th, 2014 at 1:49 pm

I am still not convinced she really wants to run.

          • Anomaly 100 September 10th, 2014 at 1:50 pm

I think she might give it a go.

          • mea_mark September 10th, 2014 at 1:51 pm

That doesn’t necessarily means she really wants to though.

I wish I had the problems of pier pressure to run a country…is this what they call “affluenza” then?

          • Anomaly 100 September 10th, 2014 at 2:01 pm

You’re just trying to be difficult! 🙂

  2. Linda1961 September 10th, 2014 at 1:06 pm

Looks like Hillary doesn’t want votes from Obama supporters.

    • juicyfruityyy September 10th, 2014 at 1:20 pm

She is appealing to the Re-thugs. To replace Obama supporters.

  3. edmeyer_able September 10th, 2014 at 1:07 pm

I will vote in the election no matter who the candidates are and will have to weigh all positions on what I consider to be the most important issues.

This may be “red meat” to throw at detractors who try to play a false appearance of weakness.

  4. Linda1961 September 10th, 2014 at 1:16 pm

If Hillary is gonna be decisive and won’t gnash her teeth, she will be W 2.0, because he was “the Decider” and was never known to gnash his teeth.

I remember when Hillary was a U.S. Senator and she was grilling some high-ranking Pentagon officials about some weapons systems. She said, “What’s the use of having this stuff if you’re not going to use it?”

I remember thinking at the time that she sounded a bit hawkish. She was a “Goldwater Girl” when she was in college.

    • edmeyer_able September 10th, 2014 at 1:27 pm

I missed that exchange but not actually knowing the full dialogue could that statement be meant to show support for cutting the defense budget?

      • Abby Normal September 10th, 2014 at 2:56 pm

It’s very possible. At the time, however, all I remember is thinking, “this woman does like a good war.” Her comments of late are reinforcing that feeling.

  6. juicyfruityyy September 10th, 2014 at 1:19 pm

I never cared for Hilary. This goes back before she became Mrs Clinton. There was always something very distrusting about her. She is still a Re-thug. Her thoughts and actions reflects this Party. She lies, uses people, is a manipulator, and believe in settling scores; to those who oppose her. She reminds me of the Queen. Except, she has more education and better tactical skills. But is less charismatic. I think she is a war-monger. I will never give her my trust and vote.

    • Skydog2 September 10th, 2014 at 6:23 pm

“She lies, uses people, is a manipulator” – along with 98% of all other politicians

  7. Abby Normal September 10th, 2014 at 1:29 pm

Hillary and her aides should be knocking Republicans, not President Obama. He beat her handily in the 2008 primaries. Had he not made her Secretary of State, she may have faded into obscurity and would not be a viable candidate for President in 2016. I find her disloyalty to President Obama to be very disturbing.

I am just going to drop this right here … http://sherrodforpresident.com/

    • Skydog2 September 10th, 2014 at 6:21 pm

Hillary will likely get the nomination and all other candidates are realistically only seeking to be VP.

  9. Ol Blue September 10th, 2014 at 2:04 pm

He’s used to being kicked in the balls by his many “opponents” over the last 6 years so a light slap in the face is nothing to him. Politics is hardball, unfortunately.

  10. Bunya September 10th, 2014 at 3:36 pm

I didn’t vote for Hillary in 2004 for one reason – she voted for invading Iraq. I probably would have given her a pass if she thought war was in the best interest of the country, but she did it so she wouldn’t look “weak on terror” to the republicans. I think that she, like her husband, is way too easily manipulated by the GOP.

    • mea_mark September 10th, 2014 at 4:36 pm

Or manipulated by the oligarchy. That is what worries me. The whole wolf in sheep’s clothing thing.

  11. Um Cara September 10th, 2014 at 5:05 pm

Excellent – keep up your ‘I’m a warmonger and proud of it’ talk, team Hillary. Hopefully that will encourage more of my fellow libs to think there might actually be other options they should consider for the next prez election cycle.

  12. Richard Thompson September 11th, 2014 at 2:05 pm

Ummm, isn’t this one of the main reasons there even is a President Barack Obama?
