A popular conservative Facebook page with more than a million fans posted an image proving that they “love blacks.” You see, if you have an image of black people, then it’s like saying, some of my best friends are black and that makes it all true.

The image was shared more than 10,000 times and garnered 19,000 “likes,” because finally, they have proof they do not ostracize black people because they have a meme which totally proves it.

“It’s OK to be a Republican'” the desperate meme reeds.

blackGOP

[su_center_ad]My pal Tiffany Willis from Liberal America caught the comments and the image. Some of them are priceless.

GOP-FBMust. resist. correcting. his. spelling.

Some people totally saw right through it.

GOP-FB2

Some nailed it.

GOP-FB3

Because Democrats will enslave all of you and throw your asses in FEMA camps.

GOP-FB4

Why is Jerry missing from Tier Two, bunk three in the FEMA camp that was his designated 4×5 dwelling?

We will believe you guys when you start fighting against (not for) voter suppression – when you speak up against the killing of an unarmed teenager, instead of rooting for the perpetrator – when you speak with actions, and not memes. Until then, we’re LOLing at you.

There’s a lot more at Liberal America.[su_csky_ad]

Of course they like black people, who can doubt it! Who else can they blame for the crappy job Republicans have done on the economy, jobs for middle and lower income people, schools and diversity? Blame the victim! It’s fun! It’s profitable!

    • Patricia Stidham-Burns September 11th, 2014 at 9:26 am

No, No, No, you must blame everything on the BLACK president. It’s trickle down poverty!

  2. M D Reese September 10th, 2014 at 8:04 pm

Gee–looks like they googled “pictures of people of color” to paste into their brochure.

  3. Guy Lauten September 10th, 2014 at 8:09 pm

I can’t wait for the defamation lawsuits when some of those people realize the GOPsters are using their pictures without permission. Anybody want to start a pool as to how many of those pics are being ripped off?

    • whatthe46 September 10th, 2014 at 8:35 pm

Well, it was pointed out at http://www.liberalamerica.org/2014/09/08/right-wing-facebook-page-creates-we-love-blacks-style-meme-hilarity-ensues/ in the comments that Dwayne Johnson “The Rock” is a big Obama supporter and his picture is up there. http://www.tmz.com/2011/07/14/the-rock-dwayne-johnson-barack-obama-supporter-video-running-for-president-campaign-candidate/

        • whatthe46 September 10th, 2014 at 8:48 pm

i’d love to hear from all those, whose images were used to promote a lie and especially w/o their permission.

        • Carla Akins September 10th, 2014 at 8:48 pm

and since when is he black?

          • whatthe46 September 10th, 2014 at 8:52 pm

he’s bi-racial. but, you know that light brown complection is all they needed.

          • Carla Akins September 10th, 2014 at 9:03 pm

            I thought he was Samoan?

          • whatthe46 September 10th, 2014 at 9:13 pm

His father is of Black Nova Scotian origin, and his mother is of Samoan heritage.

          • Carla Akins September 10th, 2014 at 9:34 pm

            Thank you

          • whatthe46 September 10th, 2014 at 9:38 pm

          • mea_mark September 10th, 2014 at 9:24 pm

          • whatthe46 September 10th, 2014 at 9:40 pm

i’m surprised that they didn’t find pics of george washington’s children that he fathered with black slaves.

          • Dwendt44 September 11th, 2014 at 12:09 am

            He’s not WHITE.

  4. Tommy6860 September 10th, 2014 at 8:17 pm

Well, being inclusionary is only as good as the GOP will treat “others” not like them. In the meantime, Ferguson!

    • Guy Lauten September 10th, 2014 at 8:18 pm

      “Hands up! Don’t shoot!”

      • Patricia Stidham-Burns September 11th, 2014 at 9:29 am

        Bang! Bang! You’re dead!

  5. mea_mark September 10th, 2014 at 8:19 pm

What exactly do the republicans think they are setting people from? Equality? Fairness? A helping hand? That is the kinda stuff I see them trying to do. I don’t think many people actually want to be set “Free” from those things.

    • Dwendt44 September 11th, 2014 at 12:08 am

Free from food stamps so they can starve without the government sticking its nose in. Free from medicaid so they can get sick and die without the government sticking its nose in. ‘course, that applies to the poor white trash as well.

    • Skydog2 September 11th, 2014 at 3:26 am

For starters, free from the unemployment line.

      • jasperjava September 11th, 2014 at 8:30 am

        Ignorant troll.
Unemployment has steadily decreased since President Obama’s stimulus package was implemented. You know, the one that Republicans unanimously opposed.

Maybe you want to return to 2008, when Dubya’s policies caused an economic crash that destroyed millions of jobs.

        • Skydog2 September 11th, 2014 at 2:38 pm

Black unemployment is double white unemployment. If Romney were president, there would be cries of economic racism.

          • jasperjava September 11th, 2014 at 6:48 pm

If Romney were president, we would have an enormous number of new problems, black unemployment among them.

“Why is Jerry missing from Tier Two, bunk three in the FEMA camp that was his designated 4×5 dwelling?”

    *****
speaking of FEMA! barbara bush had the ignorant audacity to openly say, “What I’m hearing, which is sort of scary, is they all want to stay in Texas. Everyone is so overwhelmed by the hospitality. And so many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway so this is working very well for them.”
    ******
yeah, they really wanted to sleep in an arena full of strangers on cots, some with new born babies. the conservatives, so going out of their way to make the undesirable feel so welcomed.

    • Dwendt44 September 11th, 2014 at 12:03 am

Minimum wages in Texas means you can’t afford to move out of the state.

  7. juicyfruityyy September 10th, 2014 at 8:58 pm

The Re-thugs just can’t seem to quit lying. If they behaved more human than barbaric. They wouldn’t have a minority, women, elderly, etc, problem.

  8. uzza September 10th, 2014 at 9:03 pm

    >;-)

  9. Obewon September 10th, 2014 at 9:13 pm

A popular con FB page with more than a million faux fans, won’t hide the fact that their 95% white tea party and 89% white republiklan party do everything they can to outlaw voting while black. Two thirds plus of all legacy minorities with 95% of blacks are far brighter than the mere 24% of voters remaining repubs today via party ID poll averages:

Independent 37.3% (1/2 of Indys vote for Dems:)
    Democrat 30.3%
    Republican 24.2% http://elections.huffingtonpost.com/pollster/party-identification

    • William September 10th, 2014 at 11:54 pm

Oh come now Obe, as you can plainly see, the GOP is truly trying to reach out.

  10. eddie1247 September 10th, 2014 at 9:30 pm

HAHAHAHAHAHA, Thank you, this is the best laugh I had all day!

  11. William September 10th, 2014 at 11:26 pm

    Yeah right.

    • whatthe46 September 10th, 2014 at 11:29 pm

i just threw up good beer.

      • William September 10th, 2014 at 11:44 pm

Really? Well here’s a little something in case you poison yourself and can’t find the ipecac.

        • Budda September 11th, 2014 at 8:02 am

Stop it! You just made me throw up a little coffee!

  12. William September 10th, 2014 at 11:30 pm

Well yeah, even the right wing media has a long tradition of diversity.

  13. Dwendt44 September 11th, 2014 at 12:12 am

Course those that actually ARE Republican, are the old time moderate ones, so RINOs.

  14. majii September 11th, 2014 at 1:22 am

Damn! They had to reach back to the 18th, 19th and 20th Centuries to find enough black people to fill the page?

    Sad, just sad.

  15. Liberally Kerry September 11th, 2014 at 9:28 am

It is disappointing there is no longer a date on articles. That makes your work difficult to share in a current events format.

    • mea_mark September 11th, 2014 at 9:33 am

There is a date. Look just under the Title on the left hand side in small grey print.

  16. Dave September 11th, 2014 at 9:49 am

Look….we like 35 people out of 45,003,665 African Americans…….THAT’S .0000007771%…..And they want to advertise this?

  17. Khary A September 11th, 2014 at 12:17 pm

Did anyone else notice that Eazy -E is part of this post?

    • Kamen September 11th, 2014 at 8:50 pm

Yep! I’m confident he isn’t voting Republican. Hahaha

  18. DaveMuckey September 11th, 2014 at 6:31 pm

Of course, before Nixon’s Southern Strategy, Republicans stood for things that African Americans could agree on. Since 1968, they been all for tearing that down. They won’t tell you that, so I have to.
