More Protesters Arrested In Ferguson
Protesters who were planning to block Interstate 70 were arrested in Ferguson, MO.

After being warned to stay out of the street, some refused, and an Associated press reporter saw at least 7 cuffed by police.
Organizers say they want to bring rush hour traffic on I-70 in Ferguson to a standstill and expect to be arrested.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol and city and county police departments say they will “enforce the law and ensure public safety” at the protest.[su_csky_ad]

What was that thing about no taxation without representation? It was some time ago, I think. I hope this is the massive political change that the people of Ferguson need. Let them be a lesson to the rest of us that political action is still the best change in a democracy.

please give an example of how political action has done anything positive without another group of power mongers filling the gap and continuing the same old political scam. It’s getting too big for the word democracy to mean anything. It’s now a world/state/nation where all things are decided by strangers and bullies with the allusion that they are elected representatives of the people.

Along with the rest of us! While the apathy in Ferguson seems to be at the low end of voting participation, the entire U.S. track record is nothing to crow about, especially during mid-terms.
BTW, despite the 6% or so recent turnout’s, no group of citizens deserve the treatment from police that has been exposed there.

all these ‘lawless criminal acts’ could be completely avoided if the HEAVILY ARMED unregulated BLACK MILITIAS were to converge on Ferguson like the HEAVILY ARMED unregulated WHITE MILITIAS converged @ Bundy’s cow farm, completely shutting down I-10 for ____ days and ___ nights without one single written citation being issued. Remember – HEAVILY ARMED en mass is the key to having a peaceful ARMED REBELLION.

The protestors were “warned to stay out of the street”. They should have also been warned to not throw “rocks, concrete blocks, bricks and bottles”

Notice the police were out there in short sleeve shirts, wearing NO protective gear against bottles, rocks and whatever else. This is what happens when the media SHAMES our officers into giving up their “militarized” personal protection.

Exactly, cause we now the only weapon that deflects bottles and rocks are tanks and AK47’s. Our police are out there protecting America while only being slightly more armed than the people who need policing, the horror is imaginable.

Tanks and AK47s? I didn’t see either of those in Ferguson. They have a personnel carrier (not armored) which doesn’t have weapons on it, and the military gave them some filing cabinets and a generator.

These people are simply desperate. We do not have any sort of attention span and they don’t want to simply fade away, they are doing anything and everything to remain in the news until some justice is served and this areas problems with law enforcement is addressed. I hope this comes sooner than later.
