While the president was busy gathering support for an attack on a group Republicans think is a threat to the United States homeland, Republican members of Congress were busy Tweeting about Benghazi. On the even of 9/11, they thought the already-debunked Benghazi “scandal” was more important:

And some decided to Tweet about other unrelated issues they have with the president

Did anyone think that the wingnuts on the radical right would in any way support this president even on an issue like how to deal with ISIS? Even when he says he will adopt a position the RWNJs have championed, they immediately turn against it. Remember their motto “Country First”? That one wins the medal for the highest level of irony ever recorded.

What’s ironic about saying what kind of music they like?

      • Maxx44 September 11th, 2014 at 2:16 pm

I thought they liked both kinds of music: country & western.

#Benghazi is a really pathetic hashtag.. my apologies to the people who actually live in that city.

IKR? It should be in republican caps: #BENGHAZI!

      • Larry Schmitt September 11th, 2014 at 12:37 pm

That should be a new font: Republican caps. All the letters are crooked, and on closer inspection, can’t stand on their own.

    • tiredoftea September 11th, 2014 at 12:46 pm

It’s not like anyone in the actual Benghazi pays any attention to them. They have their own terrorists to deal with, after all.

SHAME on these people. Where was the OUTCRY over all the attacks on embassies during the Bush administration and over 50 deaths????? Where was the OUTCRY that Bush & Cheney waged two illegal, unfunded wars BASED ON LIES and committed torture and war crimes and were never prosecuted for them??? You people (and especially Republican politicians) are TWISTED in your thinking.
